The sun shines on the playful ladies below its rays.

Their dresses mingle over one another as they gather to play and conversate. As they begin, the topic of Shelton is quick to flow through the busy air. Jocosa sighs as she appeases their thirst for information.

The disastrous night of the reveal of Princess Shelton's devilish plans was followed by a grim morning.

The decision for her execution was quickly agreed within the council to be carried out with haste. As decreed, it only took two nights for her execution to be publicly announced.

The royal Bennet family had all attended, and the young princess's reluctance was not unnoticed. Yet the council wouldn't allow her absence. Her family did all they could to shield her from the gruesome sight.

The rough shackles tightly bound her arms as they made sure she was stripped of all dignity. The speech was quick as the looming man swung his axe as Shelton begged for her one-sided love to forgive her. Yet her prayers of lovely mercy were not gifted as her lifeless body slumped against her restraints.

The cowardly knight continuously shook as they moved to burn her body, preparing the stage for his execution. George's anxious demeanor was met with an unforgiving crowd.

There was nothing the man could relay to plead his case, for he followed the monstrous orders.

George's execution was quite short compared to Shelton's. Perhaps the executioner harbored pity for the young knight.

Following that dark day, the young princess began to flourish and connect with her royal roots with no looming threat.

Numerous memories had returned to the young girl leading to the announcement of her return to court.

"I am filled with relief that this nightmare is over," Princess Aalis tuts as she tosses the rubber ring. "Though, as much as I apologize it never seems to please my brain. I deeply apologize," she turns to Jocosa reaching for her dainty hands, "As much as I wished to be here, my kingdom urged me to return as we were threatened with war."

"As I remind you, for the twentieth time might I add, I do accept her apology. Though it would have been great for memories of us to have been returned to me I am thankful for you spending time with me. Though it seems my heart recognizes you even if my head is unsure." Jocosa reassures her with smiling eyes. "I am glad to move past this, though in a way it has made me grow and meet wonderful people," she turns to the honey-haired woman beside her to give her a loving glance.

As she finishes her round of tossing, Lola straightens herself, "I am happy to have met you as well, princess."

"You know I don't like when you address me with such titles, we're friends aren't we?" Jocosa pouts playfully."Of course, princess. Though I hope it stays this way. Us, I mean. As friends."

"Only if you agree to become one of my court ladies," Jocosa says shyly Lola's eyes widen in the gleaming sun as a gasp escapes her.

"Y-You mean it? You know I don't even come close to the other ladies." Lola mutters as Jocosa embraces her hands.

"All that matters, is that you mean more to me than those others attempting to raise their status. With you, I know that your intentions and love are genuine. And I wish to help you and your family whilst you remain by my side. Seems like a win-win situation to me. Would you join me in the palace, my dear friend?" Jocosa begs as her eyes search within Lola's for confirmation.

"I would be honored," Lola mumbles as tears slide down her rosy face. Jocosa and Lola giggle as they twirl in a loving embrace.

"Aha, by the gods, I have won!" Aalis boasts as her ring swings around the last post. She glances back toward the emotional pair as her raised hands begin to descend, "I'm interrupting, aren't I?"
