The shaggy brunette places down the steaming bulky cups as the family gathers to discuss Jocosa with the young prince.
"The kids found her unconscious in the snow and took her in. Apparently, a strange man had come but that was the only odd instance that has happened." Lillian begins to sum up the past occurrence of Jocosa's stay in their home.
"I thank you truly," Lorencio gratefully glances at the family sitting in front of him, "Who knows what would've happened if you had not found her so soon. But I just can't grasp how she can't grasp who she cannot remember me."
"Well, she couldn't even remember her own name let alone how she got here. It was a miracle she can somehow remember you." Lola calmly defends the uneasy girl by her side.
Lorencio nods noting to himself that he should appreciate that simple fact. "Of course, you are correct. I apologize for making it seem like I was accusing you all."
"No worries young prince," Thomas steps in with a kind smile.
Lorencio slides up in the slightly uncomfortable seat getting ready to get to achieve his goal.
Bringing his sister home.
"As you can imagine, my family has been struck with worry all this time. Me and my parents want nothing more than to be reunited with Jocosa. I request that I take her home as soon as possible, tonight." He slowly speaks as he can view Jocosa grip the girl's arm for comfort.
"This is so sudden how can you expect her to leave!" Lola's voice quickly sounds before she is interrupted by the older woman next to her.
"It is only right, it is no problem." Lillian hushes her daughter to dodge offending her prince who is satisfied by her answer.
He quickly stands heading to the door, allowing Jocosa to give her goodbyes.
"Mr. Thomas and Ms. Lillian, thank you for allowing me to stay. And you Marshel... I know we were at odds, but thank you for accepting me and giving me a chance." She tearily gives each of the three their own special words before getting to the last person.
Lola.
The one who took her in with no hesitation.
"I thank you for your patience and kindness, I'd be dead without your precious heart. I feel as if I can truly call you a friend, my closest one perhaps. Maybe we will grow closer and learn each other's secrets." The two face each other mirroring tear-covered cheeks. "If you miss me," Jocosa unclasps the necklace from around her pale neck and drops it into Lola's palms, "Use this to reach me in the castle. I'm not sure it will work but let us believe in hope that we will see each once more."
Lola can only silently grip her in a hug thankfully taking the gesture. There are no words she can conjure up to match Jocosa's so she puts it all in her eyes.
Lorencio clears his voice to break up the moment letting them know they are losing daylight. She nods her head understanding before giving Lola's hands one last squeeze before dragging herself to the nippy outside.
She cautiously accepts her supposed brother's hand in helping her reach atop the horse before he hops on after. Her eyes turn away from the grieving family before her she looks toward the line of guards surrounding her.
Back to the castle... her actual home.
But it doesn't sit well with her, she wishes for more time. Alas, no prayers are answered as Lorencio orders the guards to get a move on.
