The contact with her boots and the snow makes harsh crunching sounds as her eyes frantically search her cold surroundings.

Lola knows the forest well, no matter the time or season, that isn't the problem though.

She has lost... hell, she doesn't even know the woman's name! All Lola knows is that she had suddenly run out after overhearing her and Bliss's conversation.

Her feet come to a halt as she gulps feeling her dry throat.

She begins to question her persistence, why is she hellbound on helping the unknown woman?

Again, she doesn't even know her name nor why she was sprawled out in the snow.

What if Marshel is right, for once in his life? What if she brings more trouble than their cups can handle and they begin to overflow?

She thinks for a moment and realizes she knows exactly what her mother would tell her. Her eyes flutter close, exhaling deeply, and practically feeling her mothers whisper, "Take a step back and trust yourself." Lola smiles and feels a sense of clarity.

She is desperate to help and aware that she has no right to be involved. Despite this, she is now sprinting ahead filled with manic determination.

It is decided Lola will stay by her side and assist her as much as she can until she is able to stand firmly on her own.

Dashing through the white forest, she tries to keep her ears open for any noise.

But she can only run so much for such a distance. As the farther she gets, the more she strays from her home.

She suddenly stops on the path she is leading herself down, as she hears a scream.

With haste, she races as the noises become louder. She knows she is headed in the right direction as she passes an idle horse.

"Get off of me!" She sees the woman scream from under the same man Marshel had accused of being a pervert. Why is he here once again?

Without a second thought, she yelps as she throws herself toward the man launching them to the side as the woman gasps for the wintry air.

Lola scrambles over to the woman's side frantically placing her hands on her shriveled body, "A-Are you okay?"

She doesn't get an answer as she feels the weight of the man on top of her.

His soft, yet scarred hands grip her tanned skin as her eyes go wide at the pressure.

She desperately attempts to pry his hands off while she can feel the tears pricking the corners of her eyes as she feels her breathing start to shorten.

That's when she suddenly remembers, her hunting knife is still inside her pocket. She tries discreetly reaching for it as her vision starts to blur.

Is this it for her?

"Ah!" The woman swings the rock toward the man's head and pushes him off of Lola.

Lola begins to start violently hacking as she forces herself up and notices the uneven pattern of breath the woman is exuding.

"I swear to god, look for her again and I'll bury you in these fucking woods! Fuck!" She threatens him as she gets her hoarse voice back and clasps the woman's wrist to flee as fast as they can.

Lola keeps eyeing behind her to see if the man somehow gained speed. With luck, they are in the clear.

The hyperventilating beside her doesn't go unnoticed, as Lola grasps her flushed face, "What's wrong?"

She gives no answer as she falls limp into Lola's exhausted arms.
