"So, if you think your life is complete confusion,
Because you never win the game,
Just remember that it's a grand illusion."

-ALICE-
She walks over to the desk seated in the corner of the room "Why don't we start the story off at the very beginning. The story of how your father and I met." She picks up a bottle of Bourbon and pours herself a glass.
"I know the story." I sigh.
"You probably do sweetheart, just not the correct version. And certainly not from my point of view." She takes a walk back to her seat, "Your father and I went to college together. He was every girls burning desire, but he had his eyes set on someone else." She takes a sip of her drink.
"Yeah, you." I finish.
"I'm glad your father spoke so highly of me," she laughs, "But that's not the truth."
I furrow my eyebrows.
"You father and another woman, whose name shall not be mentioned, were together for years. They loved each other, but I loved him more. I hated that he had eyes for her but never saw me; I was jealous. Your father was mine he just hadn't known it yet. So, when I found out she was pregnant with his baby, I was completely shattered. Long story short, I organized a little 'car accident' that she just happened to be involved in." she mimics air quotes around the words 'car accident', "She died on the spot." She takes a sip of her wine with a smirk on her face.
I gasp and widen my eyes.
Had my mother really organized to get someone killed?
"Oh darling, don't act so surprised. We all have skeletons in our closet." She winks.
"Did daddy know?"
"Nope. He never found out."
"And the baby? What happened to his baby?"
She gives me another cruel smirk "Did I forget to mention? Oh, silly me!" she laughs and I watch her, bemused. She composes herself and say, "Well Alice my love, that baby is you."
My Jaw falls to the ground.
"W-what?" I stutter "That can't be true, you're my mother. Evil, but still my mother."
"Shut up and let me finish the story," she snaps before sighing and continuing, "so, girlfriend's dead now, right? And he's upset, I'm talking depressed." She puts emphasis on each letter of'depressed', "But luckily, I was there, like a knight in shining armor, providing him a shoulder to cry on. The bad side of it is that he had to much enthusiasm to care of his daughter. But I couldn't stop him, he was mine at this point so I had to accept him baby and all."
I shake my head in disbelief.
"You don't know how many times I wanted to get you out the picture. So that It'd just be me and Henry. The thought or digging a cold kitchen knife into your tiny chest and watching the blood slowly drip out of you brought comfort to me at night." She sighs "But I knew if I did that, he'd be depressed again, and you don't want to know how boring sex is with a depressed man." She leans closer in her chair "Really boring." She whispers.
I look at her, mortified, unsure of how to respond.
"So, I let you grow up and become Alice McAllen." She snorts "Never would I have thought, that your father would love you more than me." Her face turns to a disgusted one, "He gave you millions a year and gave me barely anything. I worked at his company forever and yet he signed it off to a little girl without as simple as a college degree." She stands up.
"He gave me the company?" He failed to mention that in the letter.
"And you know what he gave me? Nothing!" she screams and throws her wine glass across the room, making it shatter into a billion little pieces against the wall.
"So, because of that you killed him?" I fight back the urge to cry.
"Yup." She smiles.
"And the first time, was that also you?"
"No, that wasn't me. That was-"
She's cut off by someone swinging the door open.
"Ah, just in time." She smiles "Alice, meet the conductor of your fathers first heart attack. Bradly Henderson."
My eyes almost pop out of their sockets "What?"
He walks around me and stands next to Mother.
"Surprise." He says with jazz hands.
"B-but why?"
"Straight to the questions I see." He sighs and takes the seat in front of me, "you see, I dated you in hope of someday merging our companies. Unfortunately, your father wouldn't budge-"
"And so you thought your best bet was to kill him and let me take over the company so you could merge the two."
"You've always been a smart one." He gives me the smile I once found charming, "I sent someone to slip pills into his coffee at the office, but he didn't die so I thought I'd just do things the legal way and with patience. That's when you ran out on me during my proposal. Left me embarrassed humiliated even." he glares, but I ignore it and ask,
"How does this connect you two?"
"A few days after I killed your father, I found out about your fathers offshore accounts that he apparently left to you. I reached out to Henderson here, and we thought why not kill two birds with one stone? We merge the companies, and take the offshore accounts."
"Let's start with the most important," Brad then gets up from his seat and squats in front of me, "Alice, where's the information to those accounts?"
I look over at my wrist which is tied to the chair and I notice my bracelet is missing, "Where's my bracelet?"
"I had it thrown out on the way here, it was too nice for you." My mother responds.
"Now back to the matter at hand," Brad puts his hand on my thigh "Where's the information Alice."
I spit in his face "I'm not telling you anything. You sick fuck."
He gets up and wipes his face vigorously "You bitch." He screams before slapping me hard across the face.
I smirk in amusement and turn my head back to look up at him "You hit like a sissy."
He slaps my other cheek, hard. I can almost see the steam blowing out of his nose in rage.
"Did that help your ego? Has your tiny pee pee gotten bigger?" I laugh.
Now, it's my mother's turn to step in. She kicks my chair to the ground. I tuck my head into my neck to avoid it hitting the ground, which it did.
My mother walks over to me and steps on my stomach whit her white jimmy choose.
Big mistake.
I spit out the blood that had accumulated in my mouth, onto her shoes. She screams and I laugh.
"Who wears Jimmy Choo's at a kidnapping?" I laugh harder.
"Somebody take this bitch to her room before I kill her!" she yells.
"Already? I was starting to have fun." I giggle.
A large muscular man comes into the room and unties me from the chair before throwing me over the shoulder and into a cold room with only a bed and a mattress but no beddings.
He takes out two pairs of handcuffs and cuffs me to the bed.
After cuffing me, he takes his big dirty finger and draws a circle on my bare, exposed chest. "Be a good kitty." He moves finger up to my lip and i bite his disgusting finger.
"Ouch!" he pulls his hand away, "You bitch."
"I thought I was a kitty?" I wink and he slaps me before exiting the room.
My face hurts like hell at this point, but I'd rather die than submit to the people who killed my father.
