Chapter 80 - Energy Star

Luo Xun sat in the corner of the dining room, melancholy staring at the starry sky outside the window.

"Aren't you hungry after carried away the whole day?"

Yin Nanzhao put a nutritious meal in front of her and sat opposite her.

Luo Xun picked up the spoon, but really had no appetite.

Yin Nanzhao could use a fallen sky as a blanket, but she couldn't. Although he said that he would walk this path with her, but after all he was Yin Nanzhao, not Qian Xu.

Luo Xun scooped the nutritious meal with a spoon. In a trance, she recalled the heart-shaped nutritious meal that Qian Xu had prepared for her, and also the story of the mutant Cupid. Her mood became even gloomier.

Yin Nanzhao asked, "What are you thinking about?"

Luo Xun said covering up, "I'm wonderring how long it will take to get back to Alicata."

"It will take a few hours to reach the energy star. If the energy is successfully refueled, we should be able to go back in a day or two."

"That will be soon." Luo Xun dug up a spoonful of nutritious meal, tilted the spoon, and watched the green goo fell back into the plate bit by bit, "Do you think it's really appropriate for me to go back to Alicata...?"

"If not going back to Alicata, where can you go?"

Luo Xun was stumped with the question.

That's it! If she didn't go back to Alicata, where could she go?

Previously, she could be able to say 'the space were vast, how could it has nowhere to settle, but now she had understood that the space were vast, but she could go nowhere. The Dragon Blood unit would not allow Dragon Heart to leave, Al Empire would not allow the fake princess to leave, and Odin Federation would even more not allow her to leave.

Luo Xun's heart was heavy and depressed. She wanted to poke a few more times on nutritious meal, but the spoon had vanished.

Yin Nanzhao pulled Luo Xun's trampled nutritious meal that seemed to be harder to swallow up to his front, and put a can of fruit-flavored nutrient and a box of purple-red cherries in front of Luo Xun.

Because it took up too much space and was troublesome to store, fresh fruits were a rarity on the battleship, only the wounded one could have the privilege to enjoy this luxury.

Luo Xun asked in surprise, "For me?"

"I don't like cherries." Yin Nanzhao scooped a spoonful of nutritious meal and stuffed it into his mouth.

Luo Xun looked at Yin Nanzhao.

Yin Nanzhao said without raising his head, "Just looking at me won't fill you up. Dragon Blood Unit is still chasing behind. Perhaps you might have this meal and no more. You'd better eat."

"Foul mouth!" Luo Xun's mood suddenly improved a little. She picked up the nutrient and drank it.

Five hours later, the spaceship reached the energy star.

This was a planet that energy was about to run out of energy. The small star nation who owned it had no ability to develop it for other purposes and could only let it die slowly.

Looking from space, the whole planet had no green at all. It was all brown wasteland with meandering high and low ravines as if already dead.

After the spaceship gradually approached the spaceport, then it could felt some liveliness.

Sparsely parked few civilian spaceships were waiting to refuel energy. The transportation trucks went back and forth, loading energy ore. The huge robotic arms were busy working under intellectual brain control.

Their circumstance was rather special. The intellectual brain would definitely not able to handle it and they need to do it manually.

The spaceship was transformed from a battleship so the outside appearance was different from the inner.

No only simply refueling energy, but had to purchase a new energy set to replace the destroyed energy set.

Military supplies were restricted, could not easily buy at will. Fortunately, this situation had been thought over when it was modified. After processed through an expert's design, two civilian spaceships energy set could be modified into one that could work with the spaceship.

Red Dove volunteered, "I've been here to refuel energy and quite familiar. I'll go negotiate."

Yin Nanzhao asked, "Since when?"

Red Dove smiled awkwardly, "Maybe fifty or sixty years ago!"

Yin Nanzhao said, "I'll go."

"No!" Everyone objected.

Red Dove said: "Boss, this is not the first time for everyone to do the mission. The moment we received the summoning order, we had prepared to die. Not that your life is more precious than us, it's just that it's not yet your turn to take the risk."

Yin Nanzhao said plainly: "I know that you all have the sacrifice conscience, but your life belongs to the Federation. I have selfish motives in this mission, not all for the Federation. Previously we had sacrificed six teammates, this time I will go. You all stay in the spaceship. If the situation is not right, retreats immediately and takes those two back to the Federation and hand them over to the commander."

Luo Xun bit her lip. She turned around and rushed out of the main control room as if had gone angry.

"Boss..."

Yin Nanzhao raised his hand and signaled them to shut up.

He checked the entire purchase list, loaded weapons, put on helmet, and ordered: "Get ready to open the cabin door."

The cabin door opened. Yin Nanzhao grabbed the hanging ladder and fell to the ground.

He said to the communicator: "Safe."

The hanging ladder was retracted. The moment the cabin door was about to close, a figure of person swiftly slid out of the gap and toughly landed beside Yin Nanzhao.

She wore a poorly fitted combat suit, carrying a marching bag, and wore a combat helmet. Although it couldn't see her face, but only by looking at her figure could tell that it was Luo Xun.

Yin Nanzhao scolded: "I had already ordered..."

"I'm not a soldier, let alone your team member, why should I obey your orders?" She firmly jabbed Yin Nanzhao in the chest, "From now on, where you are, there I am!"

Yin Nanzhao stared at Luo Xun silently.

Luo Xun pointed to her head, smirked and said, "Inside is Dragon Heart, do you really feel at ease to put me among your dear teammates?"

Yin Nanzhao knew that he could not drive her away, so he could only give in.

He jumped on the shuttle car, "Hold tight!"

Luo Xun hurriedly caught up.

The shuttle car headed for the spaceport control building.

Luo Xun looked around vigilantly. There were busy robots everywhere and occasionally saw a few people, all also working attentively without any wrong.

"Stop looking. The nothing wrong you had looked till it's wrong already." Yin Nanzhao sat on the shuttle car, perfectly composed and not looking sideways as if he was at his own home.

Luo Xun took a deep breath, trying not to embarrassed herself too much.
