Chereads / Requital For All / Chapter 7 - Chapter Seven

Chapter 7 - Chapter Seven

The training room was filled with dead bodies. They were stacked on the side. The floors, the walls, and the ceiling, all of it was crimson.

"This fucking beast won't stop!" In one hand, Alem carried his deep black sword. The other hand was tightly gripping the throat of a giant tiger. It was a white tiger, with yellow stripes and a shining tail. It's paws were the size of Alem's head, while it's tail was akin to a snake.

ROAR

It growled loudly, causing a numbing feeling to reach Alem's ears. The tiger was right in front of him, the only thing holding it back was Alem's weakened arms. "Take this you fucker!" Alem raised his sword and stabbed through his own hand, piercing the throat of the tiger, yet the beast still continued to struggle. "Not yet? Then fuck this!" He left the sword in the throat, as well his hand, while pulling out his black knife. Leaping on top of the tiger, he quickly sat on its neck. "ARG!"

The movement not only allowed him to get on top of the beats, but it also forced his hand to be sliced as it was removed from the sword. It was split in half, bleeding immensely, yet Alem ignored this. His life was in danger after all.

Raising the knife, he quickly stabbed the tiger in it's left eye.

ROOOAAAR

Pulling the knife out, he then stabbed the right eye.

ROOOAAAR

"Die you fucker! Just die!" Alem leaped off and yanked the sword from the tigers throat. Raising it in the air, he lunged towards the tiger and made a chopping motion. "Fuck you!" Alem sat down on the ground and watched as the large head rolled on the ground. Blood gushed out like a sprinkler, drenching his body in crimson.

"That was dangerous." Shameless appeared from the shadows and looked at Alem with a frown. "Although that tiger was a lot stronger than you, I know you could have beat it a lot more easily, why did you do it in such a risky manner?"

"How long have we been training like this?" Alem didn't answer, instead he asked his own question.

"It's been a thousand years of straight combat." Shameless explained. Alem didn't feel shocked by this. It was only a few years ago he was told that a thousand years were quickly approaching. He wasn't shocked then, nor was he now. Time felt fast to him, fighting made him forget about the passage of time. Constant fighting, with millions upon millions of opponents. Each one stronger than the previous, each one more unique then the last. The passage of time wasn't felt by him.

"You see, I've fought almost everything safely, but I'm bored of that. I wanted to try something new. Sure, it fucking hurt, and still does, but atleast it was thrilling." Alem explained with a smile. His body was brimming with more power than he had before. His aura seemed more controlled and refined. His hair was long, extremely long, reaching his ankles, and that was when he had it tied up.

"Well, as long as you are careful not to get killed, it isn't that big of a deal." Shameless sighed and waved his hand, enveloping Alem in a golden light. The wounds on the letters body immediately disappeared, his split hand also repaired immediately. Although he said not to get involved during dangerous situations, that didn't mean Shameless couldn't heal Alem in between training. "Anyways, since you have been at this for so long, you are prepared to go and do what you want once again. I will come and find you when I think we should begin training again. Go and explore if you wish, afterall, this world is filled with monsters and beasts as well. Many are way stronger than anything you have faced so far. That tiger you killed is considered weak in this world, so use that knowledge to your advantage."

"Alright, I can atleast finish my house." Alem smiled as he picked his sword and knife. Waving them both in the air, the blood came off, or atleast most of it. Luckily, the blade never dulled since it was a special sword. He walked out of the stone room. He experienced the same pain from his eyes with the shining light, but he was able to adjust quickly. "I should wash off first." Looking at the ocean on his left, he walked towards it while taking his clothes off. He was soon butt naked, his body was toned and bronze. His body had no scars from the fighting, nor any sort of wounds. The only thing present was a mark on his chest. It was a dot, which seemed to be squirming slightly. It didn't have a shape just yet, just a regular dot.

With a hop, he got into the ice-cold water. "The fuck, why is this so deep?" His body immediately sunk before he began to swim up. He assumed that it would get deeper as he got further, yet it was deep from the get go. With his improved eyesight, he noticed that the bottom was endless. He couldn't see the ocean floor. "Should I explore a little?" Since his body was improved, he knew that his underwater breathing was also greatly extended. "Just in case, I'll keep my sword in hand." With a wave of his hand, his black sword appeared. Holding it tightly, he began to dive deep and explore. Other than being forced to hold his breath, the feeling of being underwater was different. His body moved as quickly as he ran on the surface, atleast before his body changed. Even the darkness that was usually there, didn't exist anymore. The world under the ocean was bright, as if he was walking under the bright sun. He could see everything. 'This is great. Maybe I can catch something cool.' He looked around and noticed various types of fish and other creatures. Lots of plants were also growing on underwater mountains he saw. Weirdly enough, these mountains were actually floating. There was no stable ground for them, they just floated. Plus, their size was in no way small. He never approached them since he noticed dangerous creatures, but from a distance, he could tell how large they were. Not a single mountain on Earth could compare to the ones he saw. The difference was too ridiculous. 'What's with this place. Everything is on a different scale. Is this the effect essence has on the environment? Is it really this crazy?' He had seen a bit, but as he discovered more, he understood more about how effective essence was.

"Alem, don't stay underwater for too long, it isn't safe for you just yet." As he was looking at the amazing mountains, he heard this message appear in his mind. Alem knew it was Shameless right away.

'Well then. Time to go.' He swam back the way he came and quickly found the platform. Climbing on top, he stretched his naked body, throwing his sword on the ground. "How long was I down there? An hour?" He was amazed how long he lasted. Plus, he didn't feel like he was even near his limit.

"Grandps, I have a question." As he wore a pair of white pants, Alem approached the old man.

"What is it?" Shameless smiled in reply. He truly did love Alem, while the latter did begin to treat Shameless like family as well. He even changed the way he called out to him. Although he fought most of the time, Shameless helped him with tips and many other things during the thousand-year combat training.

"This forest is really dense, and you said it gets more open later, right?" He sat down while leaning on his swords hilt.

"Yeah, it does." He didn't hide this information. There was no need.

"Are you able to give me a general idea about the world's structure or is that out of the question?" He preferred to know where he was going rather than walking around aimlessly. He was going to build his house first, but he wanted to explore the land a little more.

"No can do Alem. I want you to discover it yourself." Alem sighed and got up.

"Alright, that's fine. I was just wondering." He looked at Shameless and suddenly smirked. "Also, didn't you say I would get a reward for every single training session I complete?"

"I did, but the combat training is not complete, I'm just giving you a small break." Shameless suddenly stood up. "Still, I can give you a reward for all of the battles you have won so far." With a wave of his hand, three boxes appeared in front of Alem. "Although each one is nothing crazy, they will still be fun for you. I won't say what's inside, so take your pick."

Alem looked at all three boxes. Each one was a different color and slightly different in style. The left box was pink, with cotton candy type material being used. The middle one was a fluffy white, similar to the pink, yet it gave off a cloudier feeling. The last box, on the right, was a lot plainer. It was a brown box, resembling a treasure chest from his previous world.

"Each reward is different yet similar. All of them are creations from different people, so which would you like?" Alem looked closely and began to think deeply.

'The left one is a no go. I don't hate pink, but the style is very annoying to me. Even if what's inside is the best item, I don't care. The pink is out.' He then focused on the last two. 'The white one is similar to a cloud. Cloud… could this be something Celius made? He is the Cloud Sovereign afterall.' When he thought about this, he wanted to select the white one, but he kept denying it unconsciously. "Give me the right one." In the end, he chose the one that felt the safest to him.

"Are you sure? Let me give you a little hint, the left one is made by an Original Original known as the Gilly Queen. She is extremely powerful and lives till this day. She survived the battle with him." Alem nodded his head, but he still rejected the pink box, no matter what Shameless said. "As for the white box.."

"I'm assuming Celius is the owner of it?" Alem answered before Shameless could.

"If you know then why pick the right one?" Shameless wasn't shocked Alem figured it out, it wasn't hard.

"I don't know. I just feel like the right one reminds me of Earth the most. It's a simple design, a basic chest. I don't like the fanciness in the rest. Even if the other two have much better items, it doesn't matter." Alem truly felt this. It was unreasonable and really dumb, but he went with what he liked. He wasn't even interested in saving the multitude of universes, he was doing it since he wanted to go with the flow. "Anyways, I choose the right one."

"Alright, your choice." With that, Shameless opened all of the chests and what appeared in each of them was a single egg. The pink chest contained a pink egg, the white contained a cloud egg, and the last chest contained a grey egg with brown markings. "So, let me explain a little." The eggs begin to spin around Shameless, while the grey egg moves towards Alem, spinning around him. "These eggs are called 'solians'. They are basically companions of cultivators. They have many roles in a cultivator's life, sometimes for battle, sometimes for traveling, and many other things. Although they rarely ever keep up with the owners strength, they are good companions." He explained.

"Who created this egg of mine? You named the creators of the other two, what about this one?" Alem was curious.

Shameless suddenly sighed deeply. He sat down with a glum look, causing Alem to become a little worried. He had seen stress on Shameless' face many times, never so much… agony.

"I've told you I have had many students in the past, including Celius, yet there was one student who I cared for like my own son. He was like you, I watched him grow, watched him become stronger. Unlike you however, I was actually there with him, he knew I was there as well. I would feed him, cloth him, take him out, and so much more. He was truly a son to me." Shameless gently laid on the ground, looking at the floating clouds. "He was also my most impressive student, my most courageous student. Although Celius turned out to be the strongest of my students, I still felt prouder because this student. Celius had talent, while he didn't. Celius suffered lots, but so did he."

Alem didn't intervene and just listened. He already understood the pride Shameless had when he spoke of Celius, someone who could be considered second only to him. Yet, never did he think there was someone Shameless was even more proud of.

"The egg you carry was created by my student, The Sinel Lord. I won't say his name since I promised him I never would." Shameless pointed at the egg hovering around Alem, causing it to float over. He gently stroked it with a smile. The Sinel trained under me and soon became an owner of a full universe. He was stronger than the Gilly queen, he was stronger than every one of my students, excluding Celius. When he came and killed the Vir, the Sinel was the first to step up against him, yet he was also the first to be killed."

"I'm sorry grandps…" Alem sighed hearing this. He didn't experience the danger that he created. Nor did Alem experience the many painful experiences he created for everyone. He couldn't relate at all, he could only sigh.

"Don't worry." Shameless shook his head with a bitter smile. "He died doing what he was proud of, so I don't feel sorry for him. He stood up when everyone was scared, I'm proud of him." He got up and wiped his nose a little. "Anyways, since you chose The Sinel Lord's egg, then that is good. Every egg is unique, so let me explain the uniqueness of this one." The two other eggs vanished into thin air, leaving only the Sinels. "When he created this egg, he wanted it to resemble a particular creature that existed many eons ago."

"What kind of creature?" Alem asked.

"Let me tell you a story." Shameless suddenly grabbed Alem's bare shoulder and jumped into the ocean. They traveled deep underwater, until all they could see was darkness, or atleast that was the case for Alem. "Before he came, there was a special snake. It lived on land, or in the air, and even underwater." As he spoke, Alem saw a snake appear in front of his eyes. It was humongous, larger than anything he had ever seen. Larger than mountains, larger than really anything. He felt like a grain of sand next to the sun. "This snake didn't have a home, or rather, the world was it's home. It ate planets and swam in the flames of a star. It feared nothing." Alem was engrossed in the story, afterall, he could see visual's with it. It felt like a movie. "One day, the snake came across a human. He told the snake to stop eating the planets since millions were dying, but the snake denied him. He persisted that it would only be in danger if it kept destroying everything, but the snake ignored him. The human sighed, but didn't persist anymore, leaving the snake. Time went on and the snake continued to destroy and laze around, until one day, the human came back. 'What do you want now', the snake asked him with anger. It wasn't scared of the human, but it never attacked him. 'I have given you many chances, yet you went ahead and ate everything in this universe.' He spoke in anger as well."

"A full universe?!" Alem looked at the images in shock. 'How the fuck did the snake do this?'

Shameless smiled but still continued his story. "The snake looked around when he heard the humans words, a little shocked that he ate everything. 'Is there nothing left to eat?' The snake became worried, what if it could never eat again? The human became madder because the snake didn't show any care towards the many it killed. 'If you do not spit out everything, I will kill you snake!' The human launched an attack, but the snake ignored it, just looking around with worry. As the human was getting close, this snake suddenly opened its mouth, and a black orb came out. 'Well, since there is no food left, I will just leave.' The snake's large body entered the black orb, which suddenly disappeared. The human looked around but could never find the snake. He went to millions of universes in search of the snake, yet it could never find it. All that was left behind by the snake was an empty universe." The images that Alem was seeing suddenly vanished. He returned to the previous black sea, surrounded by darkness.

"That snake, do you know where it went?" Alem asked curiously.

"No one knows, but the human in the story predicted it entered the void." Shameless spoke with a deep breath escaping his mouth.

"Void?" Alem was confused. "Isn't space technically the void?"

"Yes and no. The universe we are in is not considered the real void, rather, the real void is the area between the multitude of universes. It is where he currently is. Since time immemorial, other than him, no one ever entered the void. Maybe this snake entered the void, maybe it didn't." Alem was still a little confused.

"You said there are various universes, right? If the void is the area between, how do you guys travel from one universe to another? Don't you have to enter the void?" This was a question that entered his mind.

"I won't say too much to you right now about that, but no, the void is not entered for this. There is a different method. No one can enter the void without enough power. Only he has the power to enter the void. The snake from back then supposedly also had the same power." He sighed, but stopped right there. He grabbed Alem and rushed out of the water, appearing on the stone platform once again. "Anyways, the egg you have contains a beast similar to the one in the story. The Sinel Lord couldn't recreate the species since it was not a task he could accomplish, but he was able to mimic the power ever so slightly. He termed the species he created as the Swallowers. All they do is swallow planets, stars, and really everything."

Alem looked at the egg that continued to float around him. Reaching out, he touched the egg and smiled. "Although I'm not a fan of snakes, since they are creepy, I can't do much else. Hopefully the snake inside isn't creepy looking, or else I might just not keep it." Shameless smiled at his words. Snakes weren't the most loved species on Earth, so Alem having a bit of reluctance was normal. "Anyways, how long until this egg hatches?"

"I can't say. It depends on you really. The better it is cared for, the faster it hatches." It was a vague answer, but Alem didn't mind. He was in no rush.

"Fine, I'll just go and do my own thing for now." Carrying his sword on his hip, with the egg still floating around him, Alem walked to the wooden logs he collected many years ago. When he reached them, he sighed annoyingly. "They're weak now…" He noticed how brittle they look, very corroded. 'Did it rain by chance? Why were only my logs affected? As for the trees, they also grew back.' Hopping off the platform, he picked up the logs and chucked them deep into the forest. 'Since they're useless, let's get them out of the way.' He began to toss them with all of his might, causing the logs to fly with insane speed.

He then began to collect more logs, taking down lots of trees. It didn't take him as long as before since his control over his power was better, plus he did it before.

Three days passed and the logs were ready. They were even better than before. "This is great. In tv shows, I noticed they used vines and leaves for keeping the logs in place, sometimes making a certain paste with mud or clay, but I will use a different method." He smirked and found various rocks and even thick branches. The branches were not weak, they were sturdier than even trunks back on Earth. Slowly, he piled hundreds of rocks and hundreds of branches, separating them from one another. "Earth used things like nails, so why don't I do the same? I'll use my hands as a hammer, while the rocks and branches as the nails." Using the leaves would not be stable, so he opted out from that path. Instead, he wanted to use nails and more modern methods.

For the next week or so, he began to hand craft nails of various sizes and kinds. There were stone nails and wooden ones.

"I should first lay the foundation." Lifting four logs, he stepped onto the stone platform and created a square. He went back and picked up four more logs, placing them vertically in the four corners. Using the self created nails, he hammered the various logs together. He broke one of the logs because he used too much strenght, so he had to use a second log. Like this, he began to slowly build his tiny home.

"Impressive." Shameless had been watching Alem for the past month, slowly building his house. Although he was strong and fast, it wasn't easy to make a house, especially since he would keep breaking his nails and materials. The end produce though, was impressive. On Earth, the house that Alem created would be termed as a cabin. The walls were vertical without the bark being ripped off. There were no windows since Alem didn't know how to create such a thing.

"Nice, the main part is done. All that is left is the interior design." He created a door and everything, helping him enter the house. "Next time, I should actually research how houses are made, or even try and kidnap a few people to do this? Maybe steal the machinery and other products." He thought about it deeply. His home was nice. He was pleased with it, especially since it was his first time ever doing something like this, but he knew that professionals would do it much better than him, with less wasted materials. "Anyways, I should add atleast a bed and a few other things." Soon enough, he began to work again. Cutting wood, shaping it, then forcing them together. He continued to do this for another day, just to make the bed and a few other structures. For the mattress, since he didn't have something like cotton or soft fabric, he decided to use the leaves.

Knock Knock

"Yeah grandps?" The only person that was there other than himself was Shameless.

The door opened up and Shameless walked in. The inside was boring but Shameless still smiled. "This is nice."

"Thanks." Alem smiled. Even he thought it was good.

"Anyways, I will be leaving this world for about a year, so you will be here yourself, alright?" Alem was taken aback by his words.

"Like, which year?" If it was a year in the training world then it was no big deal, but if it was a year in the cultivation world, that would be bad.

"Of course, a year in this world. I just have to go and grab something from a friend. It's for the next step of your training. You can do whatever you want until I come back. Just, don't go and kill yourself, alright?" Alem nodded his head at these words. "Also, what do you want to call this world?"

"What do you mean? Why would I need to name this world?" Alem was confused. He thought naming a world was such dumb thing.

"Well, this world will need a unique name so that it can finally start to grow properly. Once the name is given, the little thing I made you eat will record it. The world will begin to move forward and grow old. You can even start to cultivate it later, allowing a denser essence. Currently, the essence is very thin here, only on the platform is it dense, and that is because I brought essence from the outside. The world needs to grow so that it can allow you and others to begin cultivating as well." Shameless explained patiently. "Just so you know, the worlds are living, but they are like plants, not intelligent."

"Alright, let me think." He had written many books, so he began to scroll through the various names he created. A name suddenly appeared, but it was a little blurry. It was from one of his books, but he rarely ever read his own books, so even with his amazing memory, he couldn't remember the name. Waving his hand, a large number of books appeared. Slowly, he read through them, trying to find the name. "...found it!" He smiled as his finger stopped on a single word. Einnvegr. "This is the name. It's Nordic and stuff, but I like how it sounds and the meaning is also cool. It's a mixture of the word lone and dimension. What do you think?" Most worlds he created were named in a Nordic style. Alem just found the names to be a lot more interesting and fun to say.

"Your world, I won't say a thing. Anyways, I will teach you how to name the world. First sit down and close your eyes." Alem nodded his head and did as he was told. He sat down and shut his eyes. "Try to envision that black bead, focus on it." Inside Alem's mind, it was dark, yet the black bead suddenly appeared. It was haloed by a grey light. "Using your mind, write the name onto the bead. You are the owner of the bead, only you can write this name." Letters slowly began to appear on the bead.

BOOM

Suddenly, the black bead began to shine with a bright light. The last letter was written and the whole name began to sink inside the bead. "You will see a change happen. The bead was black before because it was dead, with a name now given, it will come to life." From black, the bead turned into a bluish green color. Brown was also present, along with grey and white. All the colors were first separate, yet they slowly began to combine.

BOOM

The color changed once more, now it was a pure white, surrounded by a blue and green halo. Alem opened his eyes suddenly, yet his gaze was locked onto the sky. He felt something from the world, he could see something in the world. Not just something… but everything.

"Do you see it Alem?" Shameless smiled. "The reason I didn't give you a map or anything like that is because I don't need to. The world's general layout will be presented to you once the world is named. Of course, only a general layout is given, you must discover the rest yourself."

"That's really cool." Alem stood up from the ground with a smile. He could see everything in the world, he could see how large it was, yet at the same time, he couldn't really understand the extent of its size. It seemed humongous, yet how large was it compared to Earth? Was it bigger? Smaller?

"If you're wondering about the different between this world and Earth; your Sun is akin to a grain of sand next to Einnvegr." When Shameless said this, Alem looked over with doubt.

"Bullshit, it isn't even possible." He didn't believe it. The science on his Earth proved that such a size was impossible.

"In your world, it isn't possible, but that is because of the lack of essence. When essence comes into play, the science you guys believe in, becomes nothing." Shameless smiled while tapping Alem's forehead. "Also, Einnvegr is actually very small when compared to the cultivation planets in the main worlds. Anyways, be safe while I'm not here." With these words spoken, Shameless disappeared from his spot, leaving only Alem in the world.

"Essence…" He became even more intrigued about essence. Something that went against science and logic. 'Well, whenever I cultivate it, I can think about it more then. For now, I should do some exploring of this world. Plus, I want to hatch this egg.' He glanced at the egg that continued to float near him.

Walking off the platform, he entered the forest. He had the basic world outline in his head. Ahead of the forest, there was supposed to be a wintery type of place. Maybe it was mountains, maybe it was a split in the world where winter occurred. He couldn't be sure.

"The forest is dangerous, so I should be on the lookout." Although the tiger he killed before wasn't able to kill him, it was still a difficult beast. Alem was positive that if he was surrounded by such beasts, he would die. Yet, that tiger was considered weak in the world.

As he walked carefully, he noticed that the density of the forest began to lessen. It didn't feel like he was walking in a jungle anymore, rather it felt like a proper forest. His purple eyes were entranced by the sights. He wasn't alone, he could see birds, bugs, and even small animals. They had similarities to the animals back on Earth, yet some even resembled the beasts he faced during combat training. 'What's this fruit?' Walking around without much thought, he found various fruits and nuts. Every single one was different from the ones back on Earth. They had weird shapes. Their colors were also unusual. He would find a completely pink fruit which resembled a spike ball which was unexpectedly soft in touch. Sometimes there would be a grey fruit which mimicked a rock in in hardness, but once broke, it was filled with juice. Everything was weird, yet interesting.

"I'm starving." While he found the various types of fruits and nuts, he didn't go and try them. Who knew if they were poisonous or not? He didn't want to take the chance, plus he was a picky eater. Not just anything would enter his mouth, only things he enjoyed. "Luckily, I prepared for this very situation. Hehe." He smirked and raised his hand slightly. The ring shines a little and suddenly two boxes appeared on his palm. They were large, yet somewhat flat. "Luckily food is actually safe inside the ring and won't experience aging or going raw." Sitting down on the ground, he placed the two boxes down as well. On the front of each box was a small hole, enough for a single finger. Inserting his index finger, he lifted it slowly. What appeared inside the box was a circular item. It was pure golden on the top while slightly brown on the edges. A small amount of smoke rose from the circular food, with the golden slightly moving. "Pizza." Alem smiled as he quickly made himself a slice, placing it into his mouth. It was hot, but not enough to burn Alem. Not even close. He slowly ate the whole box, then opened the second, eating that one too. "This isn't enough to fill me." He sighed as he pulled out three more boxes. In his ring, he had about a hundred or so boxes. He kept them there just in case, yet even after eating five boxes, he didn't feel full at all. "Just a few more, then I won't touch it." He didn't want to eat it all, after all, he only had a limited supply. Pulling out five more boxes, he ate them slowly, trying to savour it, yet in a blink of an eye, they were done. "Damn…" He didn't pull out any more, but he still didn't feel full.

Getting off from the ground, he walked around a little more, trying to find a way to ignore his hunger. Sure, he could kill animals and eat them, but that was disgusting. He wouldn't do that. While casually strolling, he saw a light come from one end of the forest. "That should be the exit." With a smile, he began to run. As he ran, he saw that the egg floating around him suddenly vanished and entered his body. It was like a flash of light. He didn't see it happen. "What the hell?" He stopped a little and inspected himself. "How did it even enter me? My pores or something?" He couldn't understand what happened, but he knew it wasn't harmful, afterall, the egg was given to him by Shameless. Why would the latter give him such a dangerous item?

ROOOOAR

As Alem left the forest in deep thought, a gust of wind attacked his face, causing his long hair to fly wildly. "Holy fuck!" When the wind stopped and his eyes opened up, the sight shocked him. Two beasts were locked in what seemed like a battle. One animal resembles a wolf, yet it was larger than any wolf Alem had even seen. It's body was even larger than the tiger he fought during training. It was coated in complete black, with a red stripe on its back, extending to it's three fluffy tails. It's mouth showed teeth no less sharp than a sword. "What is that…'' What caught his attention however wasn't the wolf, rather it was what the wolf was facing. Being about two times bigger than the wolf, the beast had four arms. Three eyes fitted on it's ape-like face. It's body resembled a gorilla, yet it didn't bend over like one, rather it's body was straight like a humans.

The hand's of this ape were tightly grasping the maws of the wolf, preventing it from shutting its mouth. "No way I can fight those two, they will fuck me up!" He knew his limits. The two in front of him were way too powerful for him, he could feel it. "Still, the scene here looks so cool." Waving his hand, a large sketchbook appeared in his palm. With it, a few pencils of various darkness'. "Alright, I think this scene would look better if I added a bit more gore, maybe the palm of that beast is stabbed by the tooth?" Using his pencil to scratch his chin, he began to draw. Other than writing, he loved to draw, he taught himself how and drew his own characters. It was one of his few passions. "Wow, drawing is so much easier now. My hands don't shake as much and even the image in my mind is so much clearer, it feels like I'm tracing rather than drawing." He smiled as he scribbled away.

The sound of his pencil moving was very silent, yet the two animals could hear it. Although still locked in battle, they became a little more alert, slightly turning their heads towards the sound. Their eyes caught the sight of Alem sitting under the shade of the tree, watching them with a smile.

ROAR

As if trying to say something, the ape roared a little. The wolf's eyes gleamed as it's head nodded a little. Both of them suddenly separated and locked eyes on Alem.

"What's going on?" Alem looked on and felt a little worried by their gazes. They weren't fighting, just staring at him. "W-wait wait wait, don't come here!" Alem saw the ape make its way towards him, along with the wolf. They were slow, but steady. Alem didn't move however, what was the point? Both of them were faster than him and the stone platform was far away. Even with the forest obstructing the ape slightly, the wolf could easily maneuver threw it, maybe even knocking trees down. After all, the trees weren't that hard to destroy. 'Well, this is where I die.' He sighed internally, but decided that he would continue to draw till the very end. The scene was different yet still very interesting.

The two beasts got closer and closer, and when they finally approached, they stopped.
