River's Research Log: Day 187
I can't believe it. We got the grant! Professor Alvarez was so proud when she told us about it this afternoon after the final lecture of the day. I wonder who she will bring along for the first expedition. Sure space is cool and everything, but the technology we are building to inhabit the water, that could be everything!
I can't believe they are using my tech! Me?!?! Ha ha ha Rebecca's Laton from 6th grade science lab can suck it! You may have won the science fair that year, but look who's killing it now. Okay so there's a slight possibility I should really let go of that, but seriously! Ahhhh I am going to become a research fellow with one of THE coolest and most meaningful pieces of work within this decade. Can a person explode from sheer happiness?
