Inside the master bedroom of the Wilsons castle, Emma sat on her huge bed, she turned and looked at the small picture placed on the bedside table. She picked up the small and traced the outline of the picture. Her cold eyes turned moist and her stiff body relaxed as her fingers trembled and memories filled her brain...
....
The room was filled with awkwardness, as she realized what her words actually meant,
She gasped and covered her mouth with her hands,
"Oh… no...no… the dresses are really pretty…. Ye..s… they are really… prettttttty…. But they won't suit me..." she breathed and patted her heart to calm it down.
The lady who was sitting opposite her checked her out with disdain written all over her face, which she tried to hide, but just couldn't.
The young Emma looked at the lady, she didn't mind the disdainful gaze thrown by the elegant lady, she picked up her bag from the table and marched off the studio.
A man was sitting in the waiting area, a royal aura surrounding him, his red eyes glued to the business magazine in his pale hand. His other hand ruffled his blonde hair. His white business suit with a golden outline made him look like some kingdom's prince, and yes he was the prince of a kingdom.
Emma walked near him with a scowl on her face as she took her scarf and put it around his face, so the sales women would stop fantasizing about her boyfriend.
"Why are you so handsome?" she cried and sat next to him.
The man who was covered in scarf, smirked as he replied,
"If I wouldn't be handsome, I would never get a girlfriend like you"
Emma pouted as she had said that she agreed to become his girlfriend because the man was handsome. She regretted it, okay?
"Just why?" she cried as she stood up and folded her hands in front of her chest.
"Umm, I have an idea to remove your insecurities, forever" the man smirked as she stood up and walked out followed by Emma.
Emma followed him out, excitedly.
…
Her mouth hung open almost brushing the ground, her wide eyes stared at the marriage certificate in her hands.
The man was humored as he looked at his wife's reaction.
Max Wilson was satisfied as he drove towards his castle, where the decoration was already completed and everything was ready for the wedding.
Emma's brain was still blank, she stared out of the car window to look at the scenery.
All of a sudden the car stopped and she turned to look at Max who was trying to start the car again, but it was futile.
"We will need to walk to our destination, love" he said as he scratched his chin.
Emma nodded and opened her car door, she knew this noble man only knew to drive the car not to fix it, why would a crown prince learn to fix a car when he has thousands of men to do that for him?
Max walked towards her and held her hand as they walked towards the huge castle, which they could see from here.
The paved road was filled with red petals of the roses, the same color of his eyes, which she loved the most.
A smile made her way to the lips as she looked at the petals on the road and then to her boyfriend, ooops her husband, the idea sunk in her head.
"So, you had planned everything already," she said as her eyes looked lovingly at him.
He nodded.
"So, are you willing to walk with me forever to our destination, love?" he asked, his red eyes landed on her.
"Of course, why not, love," she replied, copying his tone at the last word.
The bushes around the road held a lot of roses and among them some had small pictures.
She picked up a picture and looked at the picture of her meeting him for the first time in the park near their high school.
The second picture was when they first fought over in a swimming pool, where she thought he had cheated.
The third picture was when they had snuck out of their dormitories to go out and play in a club, where they were kicked out.
Another was from when they were celebrating her birthday, there were many pictures that brought a smile on both of their faces.
"I have these pictures too," she said.
Some roses contained chocolates and sweets, they ate as they walked through the road to their destination.
Some notes were stuck in the roses,
She laughed as she looked at the small romantic notes which were handwritten by him.
"Seriously, Max, I didn't know that you were this romantic" she cried, a tear falling from her eyes, which he wiped.
'You are my dream come true, the reason why a smile never ceases to leave my cheeks, my pearl of passion I just want you to know that I love you!'
'I can't promise that I'll be perfect, but I can promise that I will always try to make you smile and be there when you need me.'
'During every day of my life, you are the sunshine that brightens everything.'
'Every time I see you I fall in love all over again.'
'For the two of us, home isn't a place. It is a person. And we are finally home.'
She read the notes and placed them inside her blouse, near her chest, the secret compartment of every woman.
It was already midnight when they reached the huge castle, the fireworks shot off in the air as her feet neared the castle.
The fireworks light up the whole sky, she admires the sky, and there is sudden movement near her feet. When she looks down, the man sits on his knees with a ring in his hands, his red eyes reflecting her face surrounding the lit sky.
"We are the fireworks in this velvet dark, the blaze that dares to light up the night."
"Dear love, you have always been the woman of my heart ever before this beautiful relationship with you. I have always seen you in my dreams several times even before I met you; you are the only one I have loved so much. You make everything beautiful when you are around, every moment I spent with you is like I'm in paradise on earth, I want to live closer to your heart for the rest of our life, I want you to be my wife and the lovely mother our children to be, my sweet love, would you marry me?"
Her mind went blank as his words sink in, her tears fell like waterfall, and she bobbed her head, and finally managed to cry,
"Oh, ye...s" she cried.
He put the perfect ring in her hand as the silent sky lit up again with the fireworks and the rose petals fell from the sky onto them.
...…
The picture was when she married Max in the backside of the castle with their friends.
