After a while...
Both of us returned back to the surface of Earth, having a leisurely walk around one of the bigger cities. We were walking at one of the greatest structures in local history, The Great Wall, enjoying the view in silence.
I didn't know what to talk about, so I kept to myself, wondering about the future. Since I came here, I thought it would be easier to speak with Annie, but the words were not coming out at all.
"Hey, Dorian. I wonder.. How old are you?" Annie asked me, probably to break the silence. I stopped walking, pondering. "Hmm.. I stopped counting after five thousand years. I don't even remember when my birthday is, sorry." I replied. "There may be some data on my servers about that, though. We can check after we return from here, yes?"
She nodded and began walking once again, looking around herself, admiring the scenery around us: "Isn't this nice? Such a nice forest around here, while this wall stands here almost two thousand years and it still looks nice. Somebody must be taking great care of this place."
"Yeah, it is nice. I've been to many worlds, but not many of them had historical sites that well preserved such as this one. That is something worthy of admiring, I guess."
We were walking for many Heris, maybe even a few Ris, because we weren't interested in how long it took for us, as we walked over the wall from one end to the other all the way to Beijing. There, we stayed for three Ris and then we went to travel around the globe.
After around a month of travelling around the Earth, which we spent together, we got to know each other quite well. Since we were pretty much everywhere, that which was of some interest to either of us, we decided it is time for us to go off the planet.
When we returned back on board of my ship, I went to the training center, and Annie went to her room.
