Darren walked in casually
"Hey Darren " Nile waved his hand,smiling.
Darren smiled back.
Darren faced Drake and said "Drake come with me to the arena and bring two wooden swords." He paused for a while and continued "One for youself the other for him" He pointed towards Nile and started walking towards the arena, without even looking back.
The first one to react was Elora
"HUHHHHH, COME BACK YOU OAF" Elora shouted out her lungs.
"Elora, Darren must have taught Nile some stances and wanted to show us his progress, why are you overreacting" Drake said trying to calm his wife.
"Nile, you go ahead. I and your mother will be joining you guys shortly" Drake further added.
As soon as he heard his father he ran excitedly towards the arena, being completely healed he was ready for a second round.
"Drake he is just 3 years old" Elora said with a worried look on her face
"That is the reason we are using wooden swords, and he is three and half years. Even I started my sword training when I was five , and you know he far more mature and intelligent than me when I was Five." Drake said
"Drake, different or not he is just a kid"
"You are unconsciously hindering his growth Elora" he paused for a while and continued "You know how ruthless this world is and how we are being targeted, tomorrow when a Master cultivator or a Grandmaster comes for him, who is going to save him. You ? " Drake said with a gloomy tone.
"Bu-" Elora was about to say something but was interrupted by Drake
"We have to train him " Drake said with a determined face
Seeing Drake act so stubborn she accepted "okay, but he better not get injured"
They soon left for the arena and Drake got the swords as Darren had instructed.
"What took you so long, hand the small wooden sword to Nile and take sparring position" Darren said hastily with an excited tone.
" Darren, are you out of your mi-" Drake was only halfway through his sentence when Darren interrupted him and said with confidence
"By the end of this spar, if you are not stunned I will treat you in the most expensive restaurant in Ablon"
Drake looked at Nile who hardly reached his waist and accepted.
"Begin" Darren shouted, once Drake and Nile were in position.
Nile charged as soon as he heard Darren. Drake was shocked seeing him charge in such a manner. Nile stepped left, seeing Nile take a step to the left, Drake casually stepped in the opposite direction thinking he has dodged the attack, but as soon as he stepped, there was already a sword touching his thigh. Drake was shocked and his mouth got wide open seeing Nile move so cleverly. ' Did he just gave me a faint step, but how can he. He is just a kid but his movements are in perfect synchronization.'
On the other side of the arena, Elora's eyes stretched wide open. She was astonished seeing someone so tiny and delicate looking move like that. She herself was a cultivator of Human-4, even though she was not an expert in wielding weapons or fighting, but she could still see how perfectly that move was performed.
The spar went for 15 minutes, Nile took full advantage of his small size, Dodging Drake effortlessly. As spar went on Drake had given up the idea of going easy on Nile.
'That kid even got better than last time.' Darren was shocked yet again
After 15 minutes of sparring, Nile was panting heavily and a sword's tip was touching his chest.
Elora who had been watching them spar was dumbfounded, she wanted to stop them in mid-way when she saw it was getting difficult for Nile to keep up with Drake, but she stopped herself. Drake's words (hindering his growth) kept ringing in her ears.
After the Spar was over Drake stepped towards Nile who was sweating buckets and said while patting NIle's shoulder-
"Son, you are genius among geniuses"
'I wonder what type of cultivator you become in the future'. Drake thought while smiling proudly.
"Where did you learn to fight like that Nile" Elora asked still shocked by what she had just witnessed.
"The books mother" Nile replied.
His reply left Elora speechless.
"hahahhahahah, if people knew they could learn fighting by reading books, they would have spent their life in a library rather than a training arena". Drake said laughing .
Darren-"Let the little guy rest ".
After hearing Darren they realized, Nile was soaked in sweat and still panting.
"Go to your room son take some rest, we can call Amie if you want" Drake was the first one to speak.
"I will send lunch to your room, take rest baby" Elora said concerned.
When Nile left they continued their coversation-
"hahaha what a kid you both got." Darren said while laughing
"Did you watch him move Elora, Still concerned about him training ?" Drake said with a sly smile.
"I get your point Drake" Elora said still shocked.
While they were having their light-hearted conversation, Nile had already started consuming the monster core.
Nile was sitting on his bed in a meditating position, eyes closed and holding an almond-shaped stone.
'The book said it takes a couple of months to consume a monster core, but at this rate it would not even take a week to fully consume it. I will be able to develop my cest (become a cultivator) in a couple of days, I am so hyped.'
For the next 2 days, Nile stayed in his room. He asked Kaya to inform his parents that he is not to be disturbed for a couple of days, and the food is to be left outside his room. He said it in a serious tone
"Drake it has been 2 days since he locked himself, we do not even know if he is fine in there? I do not care what urgent business he is up to, I am going in his room right now" Elora said while getting up.
"Elora at least have some trust in him. If he said he will come out in a couple of days he will come. Why do you have to worry so much" Drake said while stopping Elora
"BECAUSE I AM HIS MOTHER" Elora said while shouted
"What's wrong mother" Nile entered the room and asked
"NILE, what were you doing locked in there for 2 whole days. I want to know everything" Elora asked in a concerned voice
"Yes mother I will tell you everything, but for now I want someone to take to cest nature identification," Nile said in an excited tone
"But why do you nee-" Elora had not even completed her sentence when Drake shouted-"HOWWWW is that even possible, Nile how can you become a cultivator, how did you even manage to do that." Drake was shocked seeing Nile become a cultivator.
"HUHHHHHHH" Elora was so shocked she just managed to say a single word.
'Even if he absorbed energy from the day of his birth it is impossible to create a cest in such a short time. In his case, I have to give up on logic and facts. If someone possessed 30% of the talents he possesses that kid would be called a prodigy. '
"Hurry, take me to identification room father"
"Come follow me" Drake replied and started walking
