Linden walks in to his room, as he searches for his medication. He found it, then took it. He drank the bottle water that was prepared on his table room. Then he collapsed on the bed, as he closes his eyes. Trying hard to suppress his outburst. While closing his eyes, Linden didn't realized that drowsiness came dawn to him.
A little boy at the age of 10 holding on to his teddy bear, when a man approach toward him. The boy could only follow the man. As both walking toward a certain lady.
"Linden, this is my wife. Your new mother."
Little Linden could only look up silently. His eyes meet with the woman eyes.
"My, he is indeed look…breathtakingly. Like father, like son." the woman charmingly said.
"This is Linden, my only son. I hope you will take care of him for now on."
"Why, of course dear…" the woman reply. As she reaches toward Linden, her hand on his cheek. Slowly caressing it.
"Indeed, I will care for him. I will love him as if he is….my own."
Linden then woke up with a start. He had recall back toward that woman in his sleep. Linden slowly get up from lying down as he lean on the bed wall. He tries to dismiss any thought about that certain person. As he slowly calm down, he realized that he had fallen asleep. He suddenly recall about Feliz. Linden rushes to the living room to look for her. He found her asleep on the sofa with only her cardigan to cover her. Unexpectedly, she had to stay over at his place. Linden felt guilty seeing her like this. Because of his circumstances, he instantly forgot about her. As he brushes his hair backward, Linden then bend down. He look at her sleeping state. His heart feel a pang of guilt. He had left her alone after what he just did to her. Linden thought how improper he was toward Feliz. He slowly carries her from the sofa then walks in to his bedroom.
He carefully lay her down on his bed. When he was about to pull back his arm, Feliz still sleeping, move to lay down on it. Linden tries again to pull his arm slowly, but a sudden movement from Feliz stops his track. Feeling helpless, Linden then had no choice but lay down beside her. As he lay down, Feliz unconsciously drew closer toward his chest. Stunned, Linden couldn't move. Feliz brushes her face on his chest while her arm wrap around his waist. Seeing her cute state, Linden feel tickles in his heart. A sudden urge wanting to hold her. Linden then caressed her face gently. A sudden touch, wake her from her slumber. Shock, Linden didn't know what to do. He was worried of her reaction seeing that she's in his arm. But strangely, Feliz only look at him silently. Linden could only stare at her back.
"Are you okay now?" Feliz suddenly ask. Hearing the concern by her words, his heart moved a little.
"Yes…" Linden reply.
"Don't force yourself again…" She mumble as she closes her eyes.
Hearing that, Linden stare at her.
This woman, she understand me fully. Could she remain by my side?
"Seeing me…like that, can you…can you still…stay by my side?" he ask, almost sound vulnerable.
"Emm…I'll stay by your side." Without hesitation, with a hint of sleepiness she said the words that affect Linden greatly. His hand trembles as he caress Feliz face, as he gaze at her affectionately.
Feeling sleepy, Feliz then drifted back to sleep. Linden couldn't help feeling warm in his heart as he unconsciously wrap his arm on her waist too. Bringing her closer to him. Feliz in her sleep, snuggles inside his arm.
'Ah….I don't want to lose this warm…'
With that thought, Linden smiles. He then close his eyes. Letting himself drawn into sleepiness.
That night, both sleep comfortably and warmly for the first time.

As morning approach, the couples still asleep in their both arm. Feliz then awake from her slumber. Seeing it morning, Feliz pull herself from Linden embrace. She stretches her body for a while as she get down from the bed. When suddenly a hand pull her.
"Where are you going?" Linden ask, as he was awake.
"It morning…I want to prepare breakfast." Feliz simply said.
Linden 'humph' as he slowly raise himself from the bed.
"If you still sleepy, sleep. I will wake you when the breakfast is ready." Feliz said.
"It alright, let prepare breakfast together." Linden answered as he smile while caressing her face gently. Seeing that, Feliz was stunned.
"I'll go wash up first." Linden said, then left the bed. Feliz was a little dazed from Linden sudden affection behaviour.
As both eating their breakfast together, Feliz then speak;
"Let's go to the hospital after this."
"Hospital?" Linden wonder.
"Yes, your wound from last night, it need medical treatment." Feliz remind him.
"Oh, it's nothing. I got worse." He said ruefully.
"Don't you care if it left a scar later?" Feliz ask.
"No, not really." Linden calm said, as he ate.
Feliz look at him for a moment as she spoke;
"You might be used to it, but I am not. If I'm going to be your wife, that's mean your well-being is my responsibility."
Hearing that, Linden look toward her.
"Alright. I could call up a doctor here to treat me."
Knowing that she is concern about him, Linden could only agree. A second later, Aunt Burl and Dexter walks in the dining room. Seeing both of the couple together, a thought came in her and his mind.
'Last night, she's stay over in Mr Linden's place. She's indeed his fiancée.' Aunt Burl shockingly thought.
While, Dexter;
'She must be Mr Linden wife to be.'
"Good morning, Mr Linden. Miss Feliz." Aunt Burl greeted them respectfully.
Both greeted Aunt Burl back as she goes to do her work.
"Morning, Sir. Miss Feliz." Dexter also greet them.
"Feliz, this is Dexter, my secretary."
"Nice to meet you, Dexter." Feliz said.
"Likewise, Miss Feliz." Dexter respectfully reply.
Dexter then approach toward Linden.
"Sir, this is what you want me to brought." Dexter then hand over a bag toward Linden. Linden took it as he look in it.
"Alright then. Be sure to plan this afternoon meal." Linden inform.
"It's already done, sir. I already inform both of your elders to go at the reserve restaurant." Dexter replied.
"Good. And also call up Dr Jean to come here. I need him to treat my wound. Tell him I got hurt scalded my skin."
"Will do, sir." Dexter then took his leave.
"Here, a change of clothes." Linden then hand over the bag toward Feliz. She took it as she looks in it. A set of lingerie and clothes inside it.
"It was prepared by my female worker. See if some of it fit you. Dexter only came to delivery it." Linden explain.
Feliz only nod her head.
"It's for this afternoon meeting with my uncle and your parents." Linden adds.
Feliz was spook, as she look at Linden.
"My…parents?" she asks.
Linden looks at her. Her expression was quite difficult to read despite the shock in her voice.
"Yes." Linden confirm.
"To discuss about our union, surely I need to meet your parents, right?" He ask.
Feliz was quiet for a while. As if she was contemplating it. Linden look at her, wondering if there's something bothering her.
"Feliz?"
Feliz look at him, as her name was called.
"Are you alright?" he ask, concerned.
"Yes, I am." Feliz reply, as she continues eating. Seeing that, she doesn't want to talk about it Linden didn't lingered.
