And thanks to his shouts, the others too began to spread out, widening the distance between them and Warktor. This way, he wouldn't be able to close in on them and steal their boats.
Moreover, Warktor had a short range within which he could siphon the luck of others. So, as long as they moved far away, they would be safe. Truthfully, they didn't know, but they were aware that he had mysterious means to kill them, hence moving away.
