"Hello.. yeah, yea… okay… ohhh… SEE IM GONNA KILL YOU" Joanne Minnie was so into talking on the phone that she was not aware of the situation outside.
It was already a 24-hour flight that landed just 4 minutes before and now that Joanne landed, all that she wanted to do was to switch off the airplane mode in her phone and then use the internet but since she just landed in a new and almost foreign kinda country, she had a few things on her priority list cause they were more important that just surfing her social media.
The first thing that Joanne did as soon as she landed was to call her best friend Shauna Karen and enquire about her transport status. That absolutely did not feel any good when she came to know that her transport hasn't arrived at the airport yet. It felt so uncertain cause she was raised like a princess by her mom and dad. there is only one reason behind her being the princess of the family that is she was the last kid and the only girl among her siblings.
Joanne wanted to kick her friend sending her straight into the pond but unfortunately, Karen was not anywhere to be seen near her. 'If only Karie had been here,' Joanne thought as she sighed deeply feeling a sense of being lost.
For some reason, Joanne felt like her name was being called from behind but she did not know who that was. Out of great expectations, she turned to see if it was Karie but as she turned all that she could observe was the crowd that was busy with their own work, least bothered about others.
Joanne turned as her hair flipped gracefully only to end up in a flop. Joanne stumbled upon a piece of damned luggage and fell on her face.
Joanne immediately sat on the ground as she rubbed her nose because that was a severe hit literally Joanne wanted to cry but held back her tears because the place where she was right now was not her home. It was a public place and she did not want to embarrass herself.
She rubbed her nose as her ears turned in a dark shade of pink due to anger that was rising up from her nose. She didn't bother about anything instead she looked back to see what was the reason for her fall because she was not an easy person so the most important thing was to find out the root cause.
All that she could see was a piece of luggage that was lying in the middle of the way abandoned. Exactly at this moment, Joanne wanted to stand up and stamp that abandoned luggage because it not only made her feel embarrassed Indeed it made her so angry.
If that luggage was a human, she would have treated it in a different way. Now that it's a non-living thing she wanted to raise her foot and kick it for a few times till all of her embarrassment is vented. thinking of it for a second time, made her feel that it could only fire up more embarrassment rather than venting off her anger.
she brought up her confidence and looked straight up. her head was working faster than what her brain was thinking. all this while when she was at the place with a pink face did not observe anyone near her until this moment when she felt a very soft feeling on her lips.
'What's that?'
Her brain subconsciously wondered, her body right now was out of control because she felt her eyes turn heavy to every passing second.
'Oh goodness, what's happening to me? why does it become strange all of a sudden?' Joanne could feel the precipitation on her forehead that followed all the way to the palm of her hand.
taking up few deeps breaths, Joanne tried to open her eyes although that didn't work out so well, she managed to get a glimpse of the car that was approaching in her direction. it could be said that Joanne was about to faint but still she tried not to with the help of deep breaths that she freely got because she didn't have a tiny drop of water in the bags she was carrying other than a few bars of chocolates.
although she knew the fact that chocolates could help her in a situation like this, she refused to put her hand inside her bag to dig one of the chocolate bars because she simply did not want to eat sweets at the moment because as she starts to eat, she would only stop after she finishes 5 bars.
she mentally knew that this was something not so good to be proud of. Joanne was indeed simply addicted to chocolates. once upon a time, she was literally disgusted by the oily feeling of the chocolates but now it was the exact opposite.
