Zavina steps lightly into her principal's room. Arriving in front of a large, abstract wooden door, she knocked it a little hard. Not because the principal has decreased her hearing power, but because she is too excited. Her spirit is always overstated to face the day at school after getting the award.
"Get in."
There was a quiet but firm voice behind it. Zavina pushes the door open, steps in and closes it again. Zavina sits in front of Slash's desk. Meanwhile Slash herself appears to be turning his back on Zavina. The woman was busy with something on the bookshelf.
"You've certainly heard about the tournament, haven't you, Zavina?"
Slash turned around. In her hand was an open book. Her glasses sag almost to the end of his nose. Slash's eyes stare warmly at Zavina from the tip of her glasses. Her smile also came out. That smile is now much warmer than it used to be.
Zavina nodded. Then he said, "Yes, Mrs. Slash. I've heard it. The Lucifer Tier Acceleration Tournament."
Slash sits in her chair in front of Zavina. Her smile is widening. "Do you already know the requirements?"
Zavina nodded confidently. "Yes, I do. A demon who wants to participate in the acceleration tournament must have passed the test of strength to make a contract agreement with humans. Then to be able to win the tournament and move up to the next level, a demon must be able to incite fifty humans to kill several people and make a contract of life with the devil."
Zavina explains everything in detail and precisely. Slash was satisfied to hear the explanation given by one of her outstanding students. Her hands were intertwined on the table. "Do you want to join the tournament?"
Zavina thought for a second and shook her head. "I really want to join it, Mrs. Slash. But I haven't taken the talent test of making contracts at the top level. After all, my level is still at the medium level."
Zavina didn't lie. She is eager to participate in the prestigious competition which is only held once every five years. The Lucifer Tier Acceleration Tournament will be attended by all talented seniors. Later, the winner of the tournament will work in Lucifer's government. Being the staff or if the devil was very talented, they could have been a representative of Lucifer's Superiors.
This tournament is very prestigious and also challenging. For Zavina herself, if she makes it out to be a winner, then it is the highest award for half-demonic human being. The half-demon human race has been considered the weakest race among other demon races. Just passed the selection stage, she has been able to improve the dignity and dignity of her race.
"You must not doubt your own power, Zavina."
Mrs. Slash upheld her seat and leaned back on the backrest. Her eyes flashed meaningfully. A mysterious smile is also plastered on her already wrinkled face like a dry leaf.
"I can help you join it."
Zavina's frown doesn't understand. "You mean?"
"You can use the way I give you. I'm sure you'll be the winner."
Zavina hesitates. All this time he's done it in an honest way. Zavina knows that many of her friends use cheating methods to get high scores. But Zavina remains firm in her stance that she is capable. When she gets the award as the best, of course Zavina feels proud.
"How do you do it, Mrs. Slash?" Zavina asks in a strange voice. Sounds hesitant but also curious.
Mrs. Slash leaned back on her body, then as she spoke her voice was heard whispering. Slow but clear. "You can start first before the assessment time starts. You can incite people and then get them to do contracts."
Zavina's mouth was about to say something when Mrs. Slash got ahead of her. "So during the assessment period you can learn the talent of contract-making agreements with seniors that I've chosen."
"But, Mrs. Slash. It's called cheating." Zavina gets uneasy when she learns of Mrs. Slash's plans. Honesty for her is everything because it has to do directly with her abilities and talents. The proof and recognition she gets, Zavina wants because purely her talent is not because of the path she traveled.
Mrs. Slash laughed melodiously. Her hands flickered in front of her blushing face with laughter. "Honestly? We're the devil, Zavina. It's the disposition of a demon to commit an act of cheating. Everything that's wrong and misplaced is part of us. No one's going to stop you from doing it or blaming it. That is our nature."
Zavina smiles awkwardly. For him honesty remains number one. Maybe it's because she's different from other demon races. Mrs. Slash stopped her laughter. Her gaze turned serious and warm at the same time.
"This is a limited offer, Zavina. Not many demonic principals have thoughts like mine."
Seeing Zavina still groaning, Mrs. Slash continues her persuasion. "If you come out victorious, you can certainly increase your family's self-esteem. Have they not been excommunicated for having half-human blood?"
Zavina is reminded of her family, a spirit instantly grows. Her gaze came to fruition into a lick of determination. Her head nodded confidently and firmly.
"All right, Mrs. Slash. I'm going to execute the plan you gave me earlier. I'm going to come out as a winner."

After completing the report for his final junior tutoring assignment, Prime headed to the principal's room. It just so happens that today is his last day as a senior mentor. Next month he'll be doing his job in angelus government again. And during that month, he wanted to go on vacation as the angels did in the Angelus Inner Layer during the Transition Season.
Before Prime knocked on the door, a voice had already told him to come in. Prime according to. The principal was waiting at his desk in that clean white room. Prime stood in the middle of the room waiting for the next sentence from Mr. Xerra.
Mr. Xerra smiled. Behind his long, whitening beard, the old man smiled. The smile in Prime's eyes is more like a sneaky grin.
"Welcome, Young Angel," greeted Mr. Xerra. He laughed as he spread his arms. It was as if he was welcoming with warmth.
"Straight away, Mr. Xerra. What else do you want from me?" asked Prime in a lazy tone. He barely turned his two balls when he heard the annoying reception.
Mr. Xerra laughed louder. He knows he won't be able to fool Prime like any other angel. If the other angels will just follow his orders, then Prime will find out first the purpose for which he was given the order. Not only that, Prime will also read the body language of the interlocutor. Prime, truly a calculating angel. That is why he can become the best graduate and work in the Angelus government. Not just being a staff, but Prime being part of the executive that became part of the Inner Layer of Angelus.
"Sometimes I think your intelligence can lead you to one of the highest points in Angelus. Who knows if you could possibly replace Lux on her throne one day."
Mr. Xerra was covered with his forehead wrinkled like he was thinking. Only Prime knows that the praise given by Mr. Xerra is a decoy to achieve something he wants. Prime sighs long.
"So, what do you need now? You've used my Shift Season vacation to become a senior unpaid mentor. Do you want to make the most of my last day at school?"
Mr. Xerra got up, still laughing. "You are. We're angels, Prime. We can't be selfless in doing something. Angels always help. You have to remember that," Mr. Xerra said in a tone that sounded amused.
His heart chuckles amused at Prime's fed up expression. As a half-angel man it seems that, if he becomes Prime, he will not work without being paid. Living in Angelus is all expensive, making half-angelic humans do not carelessly accept tasks outside of their working hours. Except pure angel race. Free work? What's that? It only exists for students who have just graduated from school in search of experience.
"All right. I'll tell you right away. Do you remember on Earth there was an area called Vill?" Seeing Prime nod, Mr. Xerra continued. "Vill Village has been famous for its heinous actions in the last four years. There is no human being there who does not commit evil."
"And you want me to seduce them down the path of goodness?" guessed Prime. Mr. Xerra's way of thinking is very readable. Next to his eyebrows raised high.
"Yes, I do. We have to get them back on the straight. Not only is it our job, but there will soon be a Lucifer Tier Acceleration tournament. Vill Village will certainly be the land targeted by all prospective participants. They could have committed a higher degree of crime. Suppose..." Mr. Xerra approached Prime and whispered in his ear, "... make a Covenant With Satan."
Prime turned to Mr. Xerra. His face was still flat but the highlight of his eyes showed shock. If several demons can bring one village to make a Contract Agreement with them, then there will be a massive annihilation by the Universe. And when it comes, the angels and the devil will fight before they are destroyed.
"It's horrible, isn't it? I just got goosebumps thinking about it." Mr. Xerra hugged his own body with a motion made as if it were vibrating. A second later, Mr. Xerra normalized his expression again and established his body. He patted the Prime the shoulder.
"I hope you can prevent any demon who tries to incite humans in Vill Village from making a contract agreement. Wooing them to get back on the path of goodness is an added task. Just a choice. You don't have to do it right away."
Mr. Xerra stares firmly at both prime gold beads. "I'm counting on you, Prime. Perhaps angelus' inner layer government did not pay much attention to the details of the village that was considered to have been damaged. But for the Diabolus, the village was an opportunity."
