She got straight to work, cleared her thoughts and resumed what was of utmost importance, her work....... She would still pitch that client she was going after because the profit percentage on such a deal couldn't be over looked, she making an indepth presentation for the meeting, when she was interrupted with a call......"Hello, Micha here, hello!!!!!!!!! ....." The caller didn't say a word.
Soon the day was over and she agreed to have dinner with Ivory so she gathered her stuff and went to wait for her in the parking lot, after she had placed her stuff down in the car, she leaned against it and started prepping her presentation. She still didn't know the face of the person she was going to have the meeting with, the only information she had was about the company, it's achievements and credibility. She didn't know if the CEO was male or female, but she wasn't a bit uncomfortable to meet someone she didn't have a clue about.
While she was prepping, a man in all white was sitting in his car intently watching her, he had missed that face and that voice. He couldn't hear what she was saying but he could read a few of the words she said by reading her lips. He had wanted to approach her but was afraid it wasn't the right time, or rather how would he explain himself to her. So from the day before all he could do was watch her from afar like a guardian angel.
"Micha, yep.......let's go, am done" Ivory went to her car and they both drove. When ever the were driving to the same place in different cars they raced against each other, that's, of course if the road was safe enough to do so. But Micha was not in the mood and Ivory could point that our real quick. They got there within 15 minutes and reservation was already made. They both walk to their seat for two and looked through the menu. Ivory called for the waiter and ordered for Mushroom risotto for herself and Endives and shrimp salad for Micha with a bottle of Château Smith-Haut-Lafitte. Whiles waiting for their food, Ivory didn't waste any time to ask her what was up and the reason she needed that research she asked her for. Micha told her everything about the deal she had with her father and her only reply was "rich people rich problems. Hahahah" Micha could only laugh to that. "Anyways, I'm done with the research and narrowed it down to 3 men. Personally I think you should only marry for love, not for a business deal with your father. Micha you have sacrificed too much for a company that you would one day grow old, die and leave behind. Why not enjoy life for what it's worth and relate with people not only for business sake"..... She paused for a minute like in thought and continued, "sometimes I even believe, we're still friends because I work with you, if I wasn't. Then you wouldn't be free enough to even meet for drinks and that would mean our friendship was over."
Now Micha replied very quick without hesitation "you know that's not true, you're very important to me and if we weren't working together I would have still made time to meet every night for dinner or drinks"......... Suddenly Ivory started laughing, Micha was thrown aback, " why are you laughing...... "You sound way emotional than me right now and people believe you're hard core, hahahaha" she was wearing a smirk on her face, she just played the petty card and Micha bought it. Soon their order came, they ate and drank some wine and when they were done they both drove off.
