The statue was made of a black shiny stone. The same stone used at the garden where the dead children names were written on. It was a massive structure, that looked like a complete replica of David; the famous statue sculpted by Leonardo da Vinci in the Renaissance period. It has all the same features except for the head and the manhood part.
The face was sculpted differently. Instead of looking like the David in the original statue, its face was carved out of a different person. Someone that Anna suspected would be introduced or be mentioned later by Serafin. As for the manhood… Anna decided not to stare on it, since it might give a big problem. The thing seemed to be staring back at her and it's making her very uncomfortable.
"This is where the library is located!" The old man proudly said.
"Ohh… I see.." She nodded.
"And it's a huge one." He smiled.
Anna couldn't help but glance at the phallic statue.
