Anna woke up a few hours later, energized and relieved. It has been a while since she was able to sleep as sound as she did. Without any restraints on her, she was able to move freely in the queen-sized bed, feeling the comfort of the mattress and the weighted pillow while being cradled by the cool air of the air-conditioning unit.
The curtains inside the room covered the huge windows, blocking any light from the sun from entering. It was quite a nice experience to sleep in total darkness for a while. It was a luxury she thought she had lost years ago when she became a nurse. Anna never thought she could experience that kind of sleep once again.
