Anna's head throbbed violently. She gritted her teeth as her head throbbed even more. She laid her back on the edge of the bathtub while massaging her head, hoping for it to ease the pain. The light inside the bathroom seemed to be too bright for her that she closed her eyes. Unfortunately for her, when she tried closing her eyes, the grim images of Oryol and her monster flashed into her mind like a scene on playing loop on TV.
Oryol's eerie stare and her monster's wail haunted her mind. It was as if she was being punished for deciding to remove her aswang-self. The child's stare pierced into her soul, judging her for her deed and let her know how many lives she had doomed to death because of her decision. While the monster's wails reminded her of losing her mother. Its harrowing cries echoed on her mind, keeping her restless.
