"Have you given her the right dosage?!" He turned around to Isagani.
"Y-yes, of course! I followed it to a tee… as much as I hated—" He was still explaining when the old doctor interjected again.
"Then, why does she sound like an idiot?!" The doctor pointed at her. "Have you placed too much jasmine root on the concoction? It causes cognitive damages, you know?" He added.
Anna didn't try to rile the old doctor anymore. She laid on the bed silently and the men figure it out for themselves. She closed her eyes and tried not to listen to the doctor's petty insults about her and her current situation.
"Well, I did make it exactly as it is!" Isagani insisted.
"Damn it! Could you please take this outside?" Serafin intervened. "Master Isagani, forgive my insolence, but the Lady needs to rest." He pleaded.
