"It's a 50-50 chance that it might." He answered. "Have I not been clear about it when I explained that to you before? This is experimental and there's no way for us to gauge it yet. So, there's that." He explained.
Anna cursed under her breath and closed her eyes. She felt the tears welling on her eyes. She was about to cry. She was frustrated about the entire ordeal. It was like the monster within her wanted to torture her more. It wanted to stay inside her to plainly torture her.
Thinking of it made her exhausted. She stood up and gauge her balance. The men were shocked and tried offering their hand for her to lean on, but she shoved it all away.
"I can manage! No need to be that sorry for me." She gave them a tired smile. "I will be in my room and thanks for cleaning up my mess." She shrugged her shoulders and walked towards the door.
