Cold…
Anna couldn't feel anything but the cold. The cold breeze blew into her and crept into her skin, making it prickle. She opened her eyes, but she saw nothing but darkness. She wasn't sure where she was. She only remembered blacking out after floating a few feet above the ground earlier.
She could hear labored breathing from somewhere close to her. She also felt a faint warmth, heating her cheeks and the front of her body. Anna could only speculate that she might be in someone else's back and wished it was someone who would protect the poor child and not one of those pursuers. She'll never know that until the young child would open her eyes.
Anna waited blindly in the dark, consumed by her own thoughts of what was currently happening in her life. She couldn't make any connection with this one and the decision she did. It didn't make any sense at all. Why was she dreaming this dream? How does this affect her in the present time? She had no idea at all.
