"The Snow Dragon Clan? What are you doing so far from the mountains?" Alex asked, surprise all over his voice and face. I thought. Do Snow Dragons hibernate? Do the females transform into dragons as well? "I was riding on my boyfriend to trade for some foods. We got attacked and he got killed. I got lost and wandered here." I fibbed, twisting my fingers back and forth. Alex seemed to believe my lie. He leaned his big head close to mine. "Well then," Alex seemed to smirk, "since I saved you, your mine."
I stared at the Fury in pure shock. Him? Love me? How would we kiss? How would we have kids (not like I wanted to)? How the heck would we get married? Maybe females do transform into dragons!
Slowly, Alex seemed to shrink down. Slowly, his huge dragon form turned into the shape of a human. His huge wings shrank and then disappeared. The blacker-than-black scutes disappeared. When the transformation was complete, a black chinese-looking dragon swirled around his chest with it's mouth open, showing it's black fangs, it's head on the guy's chest, which was a light brown like the rest of his body.. His hair was the color of fudge chocolate, and it looked shiney and handsome. Around his waist to his mid-upper legs, there was a black covering.
And on top of his head.. two black horns. On his face, there were three black marks on each side. I stared in shock at the guy, who was about a head taller than I. "A-Alex?!" I gasped, totally stunned from the transformation. "What?" Alex asked, making it look like it was a normal thing. Hey, maybe it was. "You... B-buy you.. How?!" I stammered, feeling like one of those cartoon characters that had their jaw dropped all the way to the dirt below.
"Are you stupid? All male animals transform-- exept women. That's why they don't have animal parts unlike males." Alex explained, tapping my head. It wasn't hard, but it wasn't light. "And what the heck are you wearing?" He continued, changing the subject. I quickly took off my school jacket and threw it on the tree behind me. "I dress differently than you." I snapped, rolling my sleeves down as far as they would go. "The Snow Dragon Clan does dress differently, but they don't wear stuff like... That."
He pointed to my skirt. I yelped and tugged my skirt. "Don't expect me to take this off in front of you!" I yelled, taking a step back. Alex scoffed and smirked again. "Then come with me, I'll make you some new clothes." Alex said, transforming. Alex had bent down so I could climb on. I stepped back again, almost bumping into the tree behind me. Alex sighed an annoyed sigh. "Get on, Lindsey." He said impatiently. "Fine, fine." I muttered, scrambling up Alex's wing and sitting against his strong neck.
"Hold on, or you'll die." Alex warned, spreading out his wings and taking off. Unexpectedly, I let out a yelp of surprise. 'hold on or you'll die, hold on or you'll die.' I thought, hanging on and only hoping I could wake up soon.
