Eventually, Hex and Blackie had their fill of eating all the various shadow monsters in the forest. Though Apollo felt that there was still more to explore here through the layers, he also didn't care too much about it.
And so, they decided to move on from this place.
From this point on, Layla didn't exactly know where Apollo had come from, so they decided to ride on top of Blackie while Apollo pointed out which direction they should go.
And eventually, they made it to the Enberos Kingdom, the place where he completed his first mission, assassinating someone. They flew down once they got near the edge of the kingdom.
Though the other settlements they had visited were all already destroyed, this one was different. However, that didn't mean that it was better.
There was a lot of shouting, and a lot of fighting.
