*Haa* *Haa* *Haa* *Haa* *Haa* *Haa*
The forest was limitless.
A discord of noises, most belonging to birds, resonated through the forest and were it accompanied by the occasional sounds of breaking twigs beneath the feet of a Demon.
The Humanoid shadow could hear the sound of heavy breathing from the demon it is chasing leisurely.
The demon was running at full speed that far surpasses its lessers; the demon's feet at each stump created an imprint of his design, at the ground where its muddy and dead veins of tree drop, the Blood of the demon is with it.
At hot pursuit, As soon as Leon sent a chunk of a tree branch toward the humanoid shadow, He decided to forsake everything and run for his life.
Yet that was only a delay and a mistake he will forever regret; he was in pain; he needed to heal his wounds as soon as possible. Leon's regenerative abilities could be considered inhumane and the top of his race, but as he tries to do so at every point, the dark energy that implanted itself inside his veins and bloodstream prevented him. It became harder and harder to swallow the pain that came with it.
With that one bit of time that Leon had created for himself, the distance between him and the humanoid shadow stretched to a few miles, a few miles that Leon had finally found futile. His breathing was rapid, his muscular built leg had begun to run out, and the lingering taunt of the humanoid shadow brought nothing but fear and anxiety.
Leon had never felt fear like this before, just by remembering back when he first started running. Leon at the speed of 100km per 6 seconds. He rejoiced and laughed for outsmarting his foe.
But that was only the beginning for Leon. As soon as he ran, out of nowhere, flames that only a top grand mage could muster suddenly flew towards him like lightning and hit him at that back. Sending him flying forwards, Leon screamed his lung out. The flames set him to blaze with heat that even his flesh smelt burnt, the area where he has been hit, lit with fire, and the forest became even wilder than it had once been.
He roled at the muddy stench ground of the fogged fire forest. Screaming and roaring, his body smell of flesh and Blood lose, Leon found a small swamp and plunged inside to save himself; he hid inside at first, thinking that perhaps if he hid in the shallow end of the swampland, the humanoid shadow would not find him. Or it would give him enough time to rest and think of a plan to escape his death lingering pursuit. Yet, at his leisure rest, the common enemy for water is lightning.
*PAHHHHHHHHHH*
*AHHH AHHHHH AHHHHHHH*
Leon's body jolts and twists uncontrollably, up above the swamp, a humanoid shadow with its bat-like wings that flaps slowly, and yet no gest of wind or sound The humanoid shadow floats and stares down condescendingly.

[Tough body] Alden thought, ever since the chase started, Alden had been chasing the demon for almost an hour now, yet at every point, he tried to disarm the demon, he found things that even surprised him, Alden. First saw the demon wanted to fly away, Alden with his speed that now surpasses the demon caught up with him and grabbed his wings and cut one of them off. Then Alden kicked him down so hard that even he felt his feet fell numb.
He then sent flames after flames and lightning after lightning towards the demon, experimenting on all other tricks to see how long this demon could last.
As time passed, Alden became bored and thought to kill him. Getting information from this demon would be too easy; plus, Alden felt torturing this guy would take too long; judging by this demon character, Alden knows too well how difficult it is to break them.
Floating above the swamp, Alden saw the demon named Leon weakly crawling out of the swamp; Looking closely, the demon named Leon body was mixed with flesh burn and pealing. One of his wings is missing, and some black blood is oozing out of it.
