*RAWWWWWWW*
An animal-like cry, The Demon named Leon roars to the sky, the ground shakes and trembles slightly.
*BOOM* *PHEWWWW*
The Demon named Leon kicked the ground and flung himself towards the humanoid shadow; Propelling himself forwards, Leon needed no words to express his actions. The only thing inside the Demon Leon now is to kill the humanoid shadow.
*PHEWWWW*
Leon launches his gigantic body, his fist open to a claw. His speeds faster than Alden could interpret; whatever magic the Demon is using surpasses beyond Alden's prediction—watching the Incubus demon approaching him with speed more swiftly than his own. Alden could only embrace himself for the upcoming attack.
[sh*t]
[his too fast]
[System cut off my pain receptors]
[Im too close to maneuver his attack]
Alden's mind ran faster; everything seemed slow; his mind may move quickly, yet his body could not. Trying to find a solution before the impact is the only answer he could come up with at this moment. As such, ahead of him is a figure more prominent in size and weight that has already retracted his large arms and swung them at Alden's waist.
[This is going to hurt] Alden thought, yet before he could fully defend himself from the oversized claws, Shadow Mox moved in front of its master, using itself as a shield.
*SHAWWW* *BOOM*
The shadow creature was chopped, and the humanoid shadow was sent flying back. A hole in the building has been created. Debris of dust and smoke of a shadow was left behind; Alden felt nothing but the scenery of the almost night sky moving like a motion picture. The hit was fierce and powerful; it made Alden fly out, hit the ground, and bounce off it. While in the air after bouncing. Alden hit the ground with both legs and backflipped from his back to adjust his position. This action sent Alden more upwards, then landing down with his legs instead of hitting the walls he was heading to uncontrollably.
While still in shadow form, Alden quickly felt his waists and looked at them with horror. Inside the layered shrouded shadows, a deep wound of three claw marks has been left at his waist. He quickly covered it, a junk of wrapped meat and blood flowing like a stream. Alden, even though he has cut off his pain receptors, yet should he ever bring them back now, this pain will send him to scream and wail for days.
[f**k] He thought, quickly injecting shadow powers into his wounds; Alden was not ready to take his leisure time to heal them; right now was not the time for that; snapping back to where he is, Alden already knew the area he is in, the front yard of the Castle. How far he was sent, flying was amusing, from the bathhouse to the front gate of his Castle. This is a story Alden will have to bury and never tell a tale about it. After banding himself with his form, Alden stood and was about to head back, but he noticed that his Castle was silent before he could do so. Almost too quiet, this made Alden feel something was amiss. Then
*RAWWWWWWW* *RAWWWWWWW* *RAWWWWWWW*
Cry from the same Demon came all around the Castle; Alden turned around, hearing the sound of the Demon even behind him. To his shock, Alden saw, from the back where the guard stood station at the front gate to the ones stationed at each building are missing—now replaced by the same Demon that hit him. A total of at least twenty of them. Alden shivered
~how~ he spoke, surprised and panicked. Alden saw that all the demons were staring in his direction and pointing at him, talking and shouting in a strange language he could not understand. Questions after questions had held Alden's mind, wondering what had happened to his guards. Have they all been killed? Is his Castle under attack by demons?. Behind the mask of the humanoid shadow, an expression of confusion beheld him.
Suddenly before he could put things together and figuring what was happening, Alden saw one of the demons points at him, and war cried. The rest all suddenly rush his way, followed by the one who ushered the sound.
[I need to get rid of those demons and find that clawed me,] Alden decided.
With this resolution, and made up his mind, ready to take them all down.
*SHAWWW*
Alden propelled himself towards the twenty demons; his shadow-like arms turned into claws, inch by inch. Both the demons and the humanoid shadow close in on each other. Then
*DINGGGGGGGGGGG*
Like two swords clashing, a metallic sound made by the claw and sword. The sword deflected and sent flying; the fear inside the Demon's eyes showed and caused Alden to be even more confused. Why is this Demon so weak? a moment ago, the very same Demon had enough capabilities to send him flying. Why is it weak now?. Shaking his head, not caring about it much, Alden finally close enough grabbed the arms of the Demon and crushed it. A scream of pain has halted the rest who were about to group attack the humanoid shadow. With that scream, Alden swiftly swung his claws and sliced the face of the Demon.
Without waiting for any more response from the demon group, Alden grabbed the headless Demon and swung its corps towards the others, hitting almost six of them simultaneously. This action created chaos; finding it a chance, Alden grabbed a sword from one of the demons and started his slaughter. With every swing of his sword, an arm sliced, head cut, and decapitated body part flow everywhere. The more Alden is killing, the more confused he gets; for some odd reason, those demons display the expression and actions of a weak human. Begging, screaming, and dropping their swords, trying to make a run for it. This confused Alden. Feeling something was amiss, Alden suddenly stopped his sword that was inches away from cutting the head of a particular demon.
This particular Demon before him did a strange posture of kneeling only Alden could recognize. There was only one person who Alden knew would do such cowardly action. At first, when Alden saw this Demon, it did not make a difference to him, yet seeing that this particular Demon dropped its sword and suddenly stepped in front of the others and began shouting. Realizing that shouting was not serving any solution, this Demon kneeled in front of the humanoid shadow in the face of danger. He was putting his life on the line.
[Lucas] Alden suddenly realized something so obvious that he had forgotten entirely. Lucas was the only one that saw him inside the Tavern, and Alden even summoned shadow Mox to scare him. Alden could only beckon himself as an idiot if he did make it evident for Lucas to put two and two together. That's right, Lucas has already concluded that Alden is the humanoid shadow.
[Then] Alden thought; he slowly dropped his sword and slowly scanned the scenery of his action. Behind his covered being made of shrouded shadow, Alden held an expression of pain of what he had done.
~Lucas?~ The humanoid shadow sound, a defeated voice behind the humanoid shadow, had been heard by the kneeling man. Like a jolt of lightning, the Demon pulled its head and showed a happy expression on its face. Then the Demon started to speak, but Alden could not understand him.
[what is happening] Alden stared at Lucas speaking, but nothing he said made sense, only the sound of jibbering and backward sentences Alden could hear.
Then Alden's eyes are filled with surprise in front of him. Countless notifications from the System he neglected to notice.
