A conglomerate of books, different types of knowledge that Alden was not aware of its idea. Almost cases, if this knowledge were distributed to ordinary people, their lives would change overnight. Alden even saw at the end of each last page. There is an added written note that reads, "For whatever title you hold, this knowledge must not see the day of light by the lowly Plebeian." And then ends with, "May you flourish beyond our bond of feudalism. Conrad, by the grace of God".
[it seems for centuries or worlds]
[theres will always be a pyramid of power]
Alden stops thinking about the notes and throws the last book in his hands. He quickly scanned the entire library and found that he had actually read all the books on the shelves. On the floor of the extensive library, countless books lay on the bed of the floor. Knowing that he had made a mess, he quickly went to the luxurious desk of the lord of the manor and sat down.
On the desk, there is a refreshment of tea and dry biscuits. The traditional food of the nobility in this world has not reached that of the common man on earth but judging by how his stomach rumbles, Alden forsaken his pickiness and poured himself a tea and ate them. After finishing the tasteless rock-like biscuits, he began to think about how lucrative it would be to sell sugar and all type of knowledge. Mechanism back on earth, should he make one, would make his city flow with trends.
[Countless lower nobles and merchants would pay me thousands of golds,] Alden thought while getting excited.
One of Alden's plans is to garner more income for himself by making something that would put him on the map. This a dream of his, ever since his plan to escape from Choi, is to move to a different country and open a business and pass it on to his children, but unfortunately, that dream did not come true. Instead, he has been gifted a far better life than he could ever ask for.
Now an opportunity to start a new, by exploiting this inferior world innovation. Alden's dream now is to take control of the city and its manufacturing capabilities and the flow of income more tightly than ever. Before immersing himself in books, Alden told Lucas to bring him not only the information extracted from the spies but all the reports of the city's yearly incomes. He wanted to see what he could make out of it.
Earlier, Alden commanded the system to search for the blueprints of machines to make; he wanted to make a few mechanisms that would put his city ahead of the kingdom. After finding the system had all the copies of innovation from earth and all the books and knowledge he needed. he began to plan how he would implement them.
[Sytem, show me the blueprints]
*DING*
{Affirmand command}
Hovering above Alden is a 3D blueprint in numbers, weapons, farming machines, manufacturing plants, items. Each innovation also includes instructions on how to make them. The system also advised Alden to gather the necessary materials, and the system will do the rest. Of course, at the cost of more the 7000 credits. Alden shook his head at the price of making a manufacturing plant and kept scrolling and reading at all the different ideas to implement. Of course, things such as guns are obviously out of the question. Alden did not want some insane fools in this world to figure out how the mechanism worked and later start a war he could not control.
After scrolling through all of the ideas, he finally found what he needed to make first. This invention was back in the middle ages took European countries by the raging storm of trends: a papermaker, Glassware, Compass, Mechanical Clocks, and a printing press. In the year 1300-1800 CE period, The west took the entire world with a surge of inventions that left the rest of the world puzzled at how they figured it out. This added with year-to-year improvement. It paved roads for prominent people such as Thomas Edison, who went and developed electric power, mass electrical communication, and motion pictures. These ideas had made Alden think about how he should also set foot at the door of the hall of greats. Obviously, he is copying innovations, but who would ever think that Alden is actually from another world and all the ideas that will soon take the country of Edan by a storm are copied. Anyway
First, Alden needs materials to start the inventions that will garner him income very quickly. Having no idea where to enquire about the materials, Alden summoned Lucas,
*knock* *knock* *knock*
'It's open,' Alden spoke.
The closed-door to the library slowly opened; behind the door, Lucas stood at the front.
'you are permitted to enter Lucas'
"yes, thank you, my lord."
He proceeds to navigate through the countless books on the floor. Treading, not step on them. For a man like Lucas, he knew no matter what his lord did, he would not judge his actions.
Making his way to the desk, Lucas had the final report that Alden wanted; handing it over to Alden, he proceeded to watch his lord scan over them one by one. Entire long pages of all the spending and earning from the city have been well written on them. Impressed by the yearly incomes, Alden put it down and spoke.
[Let's test your loyalty]
'Lucas, looking over the yearly income, is there anything else I have missed?'
"yes, my lord."
"This year's income differs from last."
"Before the death- aham! the incident at the Tavern."
"The traitor Byron is found to give sir Windslers craft inc tax exemptions for the last three years."
'Windlser?' Alden spoke.
"yes, my lord."
"em, specifically, Sir Jacob Windsler, the son of the Graham Windsler."
"They are the figurehead family merchant of summer city. They have established themselves before the young lord have been stationed as the young lord of the city. "
"At the start of summer city construction, Duke Atkinson Van farrow, The previous Duke, had selected the Windsler family to be the merchant and the vessel with restrictions."
