Then.
FEWWWWWWWW PINGGGGGGGGGG*
Alden landed, so silently, even if you have elven hearings, you will not know whether what just happened was a breeze or wind brushing on top of the Tavern. He crouches down as well. Staring at the people below walking back and forth. Hearing all sort of sound. Merchants yelling to attract customer. People bargaining for cheaper prices. Knights patrolling the street. He even saw one of the Knights Guards being pulled by one of the Brothels women to their establishment. Per say the Guards did seem angry at first but still. He did not rebuke the women from pulling him over and showing her half-exposed breasts.
Sold out by his lust the guard let himself be carried away. And as for the others they just looked on and laughed as if this is part of their routine. They even become interested but gave up, knowing that they are not the chosen ones for tonight. They treated to their duties.
[At least they're sensible enough] Alden thought.
Continuing his observation and found what his looking for, up head of him. There are five individuals all scattered around the night marketplace. All disguising and blending with the atmosphere.
[for them to hid themselves to this level, must mean something good will happen]
[something will have to happen tonight] He thought while sharp gazing at the five individuals.
Alden Knew one of those people but as for the rest he has no idea. The only reason he was able to tell who that person at first site and even conceal with hoods, was easy for him. Because that person was wearing a steal boot only the guards of Van Farrow can wear. But the rest are all wearing different style of shoes that blends in well with the environment.
[Only an Arrogant fool would do such a thing]
[Albert Murry]
Brown, sleek hair gently hangs over a chiseled, cheerful face, obscures a murder. Dead sapphire eyes, set well within their sockets. He Watches fondly over the castle sometimes and loves to take a stroll around Alden's Garden neglecting his duties, dreaming one day he will own this tower castle.
This is the face of Albert Murry, a true underling of Byron Mathews. Despite his brawny built this schmuck is very consisted when it comes serving Byron.
There's something incomprehensible about him, perhaps its his odd companions or perhaps it's simply his persistence. But nonetheless, people tend to flock towards him, while helping him out in any way then to carry favors for him. Hoping to get Byron attention and get promoted to be one of their goons.
He is the one responsible for the deceased kids body conditions.
While recalling the good times, Alden watches as Albert was pretending as if he was interested at the merchant's goods, picking one item at time, and inspecting and bargaining with the men. Talking and laughing with each other. Suddenly he shifted his gaze from the items and toward the Foot patrol guards leaving the marketplace area.
Seems as if it's a signal all the other hooded four stop their random actions and shifted their gaze at Albert, he nodded at them. Without paying any more attention to the merchant, Albert throws a silver coin at him and took an item. started walking to towards the Corner bar, paying little to their surroundings. The rest of the four did the same. Gathering at the front door of the tavern. The one leading was obviously Albert, He knocks three times and waited for moment then knock two times.
Silent befell them. Then suddenly. One of the four who was positioned at the back quickly shifted their head above.
Hooded 1"......."
This obvious move took attention away from the two who were waiting for the door to be opened, also did the same. Then while staring at what seems to be just a roof,
Hooded 2 "what's wrong?" he quickly spoke.
Hooded 1 "I thought I saw someone or... something" narrowing their eyes trying to investigate the roof in depth.
Hooded 3 "Hmph, maybe your senses have dulled from all that reading about magic and rubbish." Felt like a trigger, the latter replied.
Hooded 1 "Do I sense a hint of jealousy, or do I sense a hint of yearning for magic because till this day you still haven't reached my level Watt." An Ice-cold feminine voice has spoken.
Hooded 3 "you think your better than me i-"
before he could even finish, hooded 1 was already staring back at him with fiery piercing eyes that started to shine. Then her hooded clothes began to distort with heat, as the wind flatter, the heat began to radiate around the five. They felt it.
Hooded 4 "........' Kept his silence.
Hooded 3"Hooo impressive". As he spoke. He also began to reach for his waist, readying himself for what's about to happen. As such he also started to radiate.
Hooded 1 began speaking "I don't think I'm better than you, I know I'm better" she spoke, hand position in a gesturing. They say any mage who wield an affinity is not to be taken easily. Even in closed proximity would not do anyone good.
Hooded 2 "that's enough! you two. Gwen and Watt, do not forget why we are here today" Hooded 2 has spoken. Even thought hooded 2 has not revealed his power, Gwen and Watt stop their action and bowed their heads in silence.
Any fool would know who is the one in charge of the group.
