Chapter 8 - Troublesome Trouble

Kyle did not even bother to finish his coffee. He just woke up; it was 2:30 in the afternoon. He was really anxious by the sound of the familiar voice on the other line when he called Angel. Alarmed by the term "She is sleeping," that resounds in his ears, leaving an unpleasant feeling. This man, wearing light blue cotton pajamas that seem short for his towering height, rushed to change his clothes without thinking much.

Anyone who knows Kyle will consider this as a very unusual sight. Kyle is a very sophisticated person. He considers fashion as his next profession, but not at this moment. He is in such a hurry that thinking about the coordination of what he will wear be a waste of his time. On typical days, Kyle will not even consider wearing denim. He is not much of a denim person, but today this fashionable man wears a denim-over-denim! Even though his physique will allow him to look good at anything and set a new trend on its own, it is still notable that today's Kyle is considered a fashion terrorist, most especially for himself.

"This thing doesn't match at all!" Kyle murmured while shaking his head. "But I don't have time," He struggles with either changing his clothes or flying towards Angel - he obviously picked the latter as he practically flew over to Angel's house in less than thirty minutes! Even GPS is amazed as it initially said," Estimated time of arrival at the destination at exactly an hour."

Kyle showed up on time when James pulled up his car in front of Angel's house. If eyes can melt, the windshields of each vehicle would have melted as these two men meet eyes for a good ten seconds. Kyle practically jumps off his car, slams the door, and irritatedly waits for James to get out of his car after saying," Get out now!"

James' response is to sarcastically smile while looking at Kyle, who just knocked his driver seat window as if trying to break it. James met Kyle outside the car and signaled him to follow him in front of the gate, a little over two meters away to the car's back seat where Angel is peacefully sleeping- totally unaware of the trojan war outside. James puts his hand inside his pocket while the other is crossing his hands over his chest. Kyle looks agitated while James seems calm as if he is enjoying the show.

"Why is she there, and…." Kyle was cut mid-sentence when James raised her hand and signaled "stop" with his hand.

"Before I answer your question, tell me first who you are," James said in a calm yet stern tone.

Kyle crossed his brows and asked James, "Why are you so concern about who am I? Is my presence that intimidating to you? Well, I can somehow see why," He said the last sentence while looking at James from head to toe and then smiled a haughty smile that James seemed to reflect while shaking his head.

"Why can't you answer that simple question? Is it not clear for you as well?" James replied. Tension increased between the two when Angel had suddenly woken up from her deep slumber, with a slight backache and concerned mind when he realized she was sleeping at the back of her car. She strokes her hair amidst being a little dizzy while trying to recall what happened. This beautiful girl in a hot mess can only remember crying over someone's shoulders.

Angel puts her hands over her mouth as she remembers an embarrassing memory, " Are you crazy?" she said under her breath while pounding her head. Angel's attention was caught by two beautiful men standing in front of her gate. "Who are those two angels standing in front of my house? Am I expecting someone today? They seem to be having a confrontation there- Juicy…." She murmured. But after a few seconds, she realized that these two men were acquainted with her.

"Oh! It's Kyle and James; what are they doing there? Let me go out."

Angel said to herself as if she were talking to a third person while alone inside her car. She gets out of the car calmly and closes the door behind, barely making a sound. She observes as the men in front of her don't notice her presence.

"What are you both doing here?" Angel's grabbed the attention of the two beautiful men blocking the entrance of her gate.

"Are you okay? Do you feel better now?" James asks while walking towards Angel and is about to hold her arms; he would have been successful if Kyle did not push it away while taking Angel in his arms while narrowing his eyes towards James.

Kyle hastily guided Angel inside her house, even though she was still trying to talk to James, "wait, wait," Angel mouthed, but Kyle decided not to listen. Angel shouted at James while doing a phone signal with her hands." Thank you for today. I will call you later!"

Kyle almost stopped and let Angel go because those words dreadfully irritated him. "No one will call anyone later except me," He mumbles on his breath while putting in Angel's passcode on the automatic door lock.

"Bye!" Angel says while waving at James, where the latter said "Yes," reflecting the same motion. James realizes that she still has Angel's car keys and that his car is left in the office. He decided to keep the vehicle and return it later, another reason to anticipate a meeting with Angel again.

He playfully smiled with this idea, but that smile was wiped out entirely with a not-so-pleasing memory of how Kyle put in Angel's password on the doorlock a while back, "Does he live there? What is the role you play in this romance, Kyle?" His eyes narrowed with the thought of remembering the name on the phone call and the passcode incidents today. "Let's go back to work," James whispered as he drove Angel's car around the block," See you later, My Angel," Is the last words he said while looking at the eventful gate owned by a beautiful maiden she dearly knows. James drives back to his office when he receives a call from the police station where they brought Angel's assaulter. He calmly answered the call, confirmed his visit, and said to himself after hanging up," If you don't tell me who you are, I will fill find it out myself."

James speed-up and went directly to the police station where the assaulter was detained. His emotions mixed, but he was able to control his anger the best way he could. He pulled out a chair, greeted the policeman who was conducting the investigation. Ask for some information and then went directly to the questioned individual.

At first, he calmly asked, "Who are you?" but when the person refused to answer, his last straw of patience was pulled! James grabbed the man by the collar and shouted," Who the hell are you?!"
