Katheryn walked in with the group. At first, they didn't notice the weapons in their hands. As they ambled in the middle of the hall, the weapons in their hands were visible. People were perplexed after seeing the weapons. Katheryn and her group's arrival was a complete surprise to those who were present in the hall.
Katheryn and her group slowly made their way to the middle of the hall, with the weapons in their hands visible for all to see. People were baffled by the unexpected entrance and could only watch in wonder as Katheryn and her group marched confidently to the center of the room.
The men from the Ditrayn were all looking at each other, perplexed. Why would they bring weapons to a wedding? What were they all doing? Murmurs spread across the hall. There was a sense of confusion and dread among the people at the wedding as they tried to decipher why the men were carrying weapons.
Vaises, seated in his chair, was looking at the people who came. His gaze was calm, and he seemed relaxed. But Mosce had a worried look.
Katheryn was now standing in front of the table. She was looking at Vaises. She folded her hands and stood composedly.
Mosce couldn't keep his calm and said in a slightly louder tone, "What is the meaning of this?"
"Do you even know the person sitting here?"
Katheryn tilted her head, looking at Vaises, and asked, "Do I have to?"
"Insolence!" Mosce shouted in anger.
"Mosce, you are talking to my sister." Rhaet cupped his hands, looking at Mosce.
"And why are you silent and not reprimanding your sister's actions?" Mosce turned to Rhaet.
"Katheryn has her own personality." "She doesn't listen to me and does as she thinks. And I can't say anything to her, as she is my only sister, whom I care about." Rhaet, looking at the front, said in a calm tone.
Mosce was bewildered by his words and was more confused. He looked at Katheryn and then towards Rhaet. Something was wrong here. but he couldn't tell. Until yesterday, Rhaet was fine with everything Mosce did and talked leisurely to him. But now, from Rhaet's tone, he seemed to be different. And Katheryn's actions were more surprising. Mosce only had a few interactions with Katheryn during his stay here. He had only heard of her from Rhaet.
The members of the hall were puzzled by the sudden turn of events. Silence fell on the hall, and they were all silently staring at them.
"Chief Rhaet, it seems you have other intentions for today's event," Vaises spoke after a long period of silence. Then all the eyes in the hall turned to Vaises, and a heavy tension filled the air. Vaises continued, his voice firm and clear, "I believe that it was said to be a wedding ceremony between the two families, but I think the Chief has something else on his mind, right?"
Chief Rhaet remained silent, a small smile creeping across his face as he looked at Vaises. Everyone in the hall could see Rhaet and guessed that it was indeed true that he had something on his mind. The whole hall remained silent as everyone waited with bated breath to hear what Chief Rhaet had to say.
