Griselda leaned forward, intrigued. "You're saying they can actually turn to humans… like us?"
"Yes," the witch replied, her voice almost a whisper. "But his connection to them is unnatural. It's dangerous."
Servvas clenched his fists, pacing the room. "If what you say is true, then Aragon is a threat. Not just to his enemies, but to us as well. If he cannot be controlled…"
Witch stood, her cloak swaying as she moved towards Servvas. "He cannot be controlled. Not by us, not by anyone. He is on a path that will either lead him to greatness or destruction, and the dragons will follow him, wherever that may be."
Griselda set her goblet down, her eyes darkening. "Do you think you can even control him?" She looked at Servvas, and she continued, "Servvas, I will say this, as you have been a long time friend of ours. It's best if we just become allies with him."
