Merlena then got up and said, "You can come in the night if you want. But I am taking him for now."
Leanna shook her head, with a faint smile.
Merlena walked to Aragon and put her arm around his neck.
"Well, dear sister, send us a word after you arrange the mansion." She winked at Leanna.
"You do know that Father is here in the palace." Leanna puckered her lips and said.
Merlena furrowed her brows and replied, "What? Then there's more of a reason to leave the palace right now."
Aragon was simply standing there, watching them.
"Let's go, Aragon."
With a hand around him, they both left the chambers.
Both of them got out of the palace in no time and reached a tavern.
Merlena and Aragon found themselves seated comfortably in the cozy ambiance of the tavern, the soft glow of candlelight casting warm shadows across the room.
