The darkness of the corridor near the door contrasted with the morning light that filtered in through the windows.

He didn't come across anyone, the sound of his footsteps echoed in the corridor, and he made his way out of the chambers easily.
When he reached the library, he observed the castle was busy, as everyone seemed to be decorating the castle. Some were carrying barrels and other food supplies.
He noticed that some were busy preparing the castle, making it look more welcoming.
Vaises, who came out of his room, saw Aragon standing in the corridor, looking out.
"We received the letter from the capital, informing us that the royal retinue will be arriving tomorrow," he said, striding towards Aragon.
