Chapter 312 - Seclusion

Ki spent sometime in secluded training further refining her body and her blood qi.

As her blood qi was dangerously getting closer to her noxious qi, she began to run her Generation Qi Art to use some of the blood qi to nurture her noxious qi.

She slowly and steadily completed this process using up a small portion of the blood that she had collected to fuel her great cultivation requirements but it was very rewarding.

Her noxious qi was capable of growing when introduced to poisons, venoms, diseases, drugs, harmful medicines, aphrodisiacs or anything else but its downside was that the user had to build up the immunity in their body as they practice otherwise they risk suffering the full effects becoming injured or dying during practice.

Poison immunity and her Silkworm Gu did help to reduce the risks and speed up her practice but there was always the risk from more powerful and harmful noxious substances.

She had been working on still building up her immunities to many things past her hundred poison immunity to help increase her own resistances while nurturing her Noxious qi with many types of harmful things and her Blood qi so her speed was much faster than it should be for a poison martial artist or someone else using the Generation Qi Art.

However no matter the quantity and quality of the blood she had collected, time was still required to continue the cycle of raising her blood qi, refining her body and nurturing her noxious qi and repeating this cycle.

There were always ways to skip this cycle if medicines or special types of miracle ingredients were consumed to help increase her Noxious Qi without suffering any harmful effects.

However such items are rare and either cost a lot of money or require heavy risks to obtain.

Even the effects of the qi boosting pill would be quite small at her current realm and would be a waste to use so she kept those that remained for those that needed them.

Her speed was already monstrous so she did not wish to rush any faster and ruin the foundation that she had built for herself.

In her previous life, she had believed her own talents to be low but thanks to her blood arts, she was able to achieve the peak of the Unrestrained Realm but after returning, she slowly learned that she had been very wrong.

Her understanding of martial arts was never a problem but she was restricted by her broken body that did not allow her to go any further.

This created an imbalance between mind, body and qi which had restricted her talents and potential.

Her experience from her previous life and her every effort to build a stable foundation in her body, her swordsmanship and her qi allowed her to remain stable even if she was progressing at a very fast pace.

Seven years transformed her from a small and weak girl who had never handled anything heavy into a young lady who could lead the charge against the northern invaders and the Blood Sect.

During her every journey and insight, she was slowly changing again and again until she was getting closer to the next realm but after some time of refining her body and qi, she wished to grasp what she had learned as well so she picked up her sword and continued to improve her sword forms.

While she was in secluded cultivation, others did the same who had experienced the same thing.

After collecting high quantities and qualities of blood, each of their qi was growing.

The numbers not greedy enough to leave the others within the Blood Shadow Group behind too far so released some of the excess blood they had collected to help the others enough cultivation resources for their Blood Qi Art.

Mystic arts made the sharing of the blood possible after they carried it within their storage and were able to release and control it again until the others had collected what they needed for training.

If it was any other Blood Qi martial artist, they would remain within a secret room or hideout where they have a bath of blood or many containers filled with blood stored so it was very difficult to transport from place to place and share with others unless a large team worked together to ensure it is not discovered during the transportation.

While they all went to train in seclusion and refine their blood qi, they slowly felt the increase of their own blood qi quality but also their vitality and ability to heal from wounds.

The high quality of blood from this battle was a large boost to them in many ways, if Ki had started out as a Blood Qi or Blood Buddha Qi martial artist from the beginning and had not chosen to practice the Noxious Qi Art along with her Generation Qi Art, she may have entered the Unrestrained Realm so much sooner even if she attempted to suppress her realm.

If the high quality of blood was so coveted by a peak Unrestrained Realm who wished to gain extra resources to help his breakthrough to the Mystic Realm, for them who have a lower realm than him to be able to make use of it was much more effective providing them much more of a boost in their realm.

Those not in the transcendent realm found themselves soon approaching that realm within a short amount of secluded practice while those already close had broken through.

Those who had already broken through had been able to boost their blood qi to a higher realm and further refine their qi to increase the overall purity and strength to allow a possible breakthrough to the Unrestrained Realm in the future so long as they have the resources and time to practice.

The Unrestrained Realm captives that were saved were slowly being dealt with within Wolfden City according to Ki's wishes.

Homes or possible job positions were being arranged for each of them within the village for them to slowly adjust to the changes but also prepare for their family members to do the same.

The Unrestrained Realm martial artists were banned from being able to use their full strength within the village but if a situation where they had to defend themselves or there was danger to the village, they would be allowed to step forward so long as they were given consent to do so or there were no witnesses.

Even if the village was secluded, spies could still exist somewhere within.

Some may have been caught while others continue to remain hidden and not reveal themselves until the right time.

To prevent any leaks about their whereabouts, it was best to remain as cautious as possible.

Even if the village was the best place to hide them for now, many risks were still involved so it was best that they appear to be ordinary or hide their true abilities.

Within the village there was nobody who could threaten them so they would not need to use their full strength.

The smaller groups were being transported over first followed by the bigger groups so just as Ki came out of her closed door cultivation, she heard the news about everything proceeding according to plan.
