The Blood Sects ways were most suitable to Rashida to help her reach new heights quickly, as she was stubborn and not one to give up on something halfway, she was able to put all of her newfound energy and vitality towards pushing her body past its limits and gaining further experiences and insights through real combat.
The fight kept going back and forth as the leader continued to push back with all his strength and qi within his body that was on the verge of exploding forth from within him.
However each time he seemed to gain the upper hand, he was met with failure.
One attempt after another increased his desperation a step further and made him attempt to take her down with him.
With the adjustments that she had made from her insights and experience, Rashida was gradually able to hold him off.
His power was on the final limitations of what he could use so he gathered every last bit of strength for a final attack.
However his attack was met with a soft force of Rashida's scimitar as she wielded it to meet his attack and reduce its overall power displayed.
Someone nearby tried to assist their leader duding this time and catch Rashida off guard in the moment that she guarded and sent the sword away to the side.
The force carried her around and she quickly began her dancing water-like steps to spin her body around as she was about to turn towards the leader, the person who attempted to get close and attack her was swept up in her attack that carried the force from her body but also some of the leaders power that was carried along with her as she spun.
She left a large cut on that person's throat and continued until her scimitar reached the neck of the leader who had no strength left in his body.
His head left his body not long after the scimitar passed through him.
He was completely defenceless and weak after consuming the pill and gaining such a large increase in strength, the moment he had ran out if power he would need a lot of time to rest and regain the strength that he had.
If he had been successful in killing his enemy after taking the pill then he may have had a chance to survive but Rashida had been warned by Ki very early about the pill or other pills effects that may have an effect on a battles outcome.
The best ways to deal with it was to either overpower them, defend and wait until their strength runs out or to just run away.
Rashida could not afford to run away and did not yet have the strength and experience necessary to overpower him so the only option was to fight on the defensive until the pills effects have been used up and all that remains is the weakened leader.
If she had chosen to run then Ki would be disappointed in her choice simply because among the group, only Ki and Rashida could possibly hold him back from causing many injuries and death to the others within the room.
However Rashida had never been someone to back down and leave the dangers to others so everything worked out in the end.
After cleaning up the remaining people from the sect within the room, Rashida approached and asked. "What about the others?"
Ki looked at the remaining survivors who had pledged their lives to the Blood Sect, many were people that were corrupted since a long time ago or they had only learned about this side of the world through their family who was a part of it only recently.
While some may seem innocent, most of them were not…
She looked at the two children on the ground and her eyes flashed coldly as she saw their faces.
An image appeared in her mind of a brother and sister pair within the sect.
The brother and sister were believed to be recruited from outside of the sect, upon joining they quickly rose in the ranks and joined the punishment or information extraction department where Blood Axe had later taken over.
They both carried a small vial of blood on a necklace which was known by others to be a small amount of their mothers blood that was sacrificed for them to live on and have a better chance within the sect.
Following the wish of their mother they did indeed rise up and became one of the most cruel and despicable people within the sect that the sect leader had at his disposal.
Just like Blood Axe, they were as equally cruel and ruthless but they died in their mid twenties during one of the big wars that broke out against the Martial Alliance and their affiliated sects.
If they had lived on then Ki may have had an even more difficult time during her time eliminating those within the sect.
Although she knew some things about them, it was easy to forget about these things with the passage of time.
She did not expect to ever run into them again but it seems that she had come across their place of beginning.
This was the time and place where they had been reborn as monsters and would soon become the heirs best tools to use during his power struggles in and outside the sect but also to handle various tasks that needed to be completed.
