Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: Fake Party.

She just couldn't sleep. She was tossing all over the bed.

So he was Andre after all. God, that was so cool!

She smiled and turned to the left side of her bed and brought the duvet up her chest.

Then she took her phone. She was gonna message him.

But what would she say?

She typed.

"have you gotten home?"

But it was already an hour since he left, so yeah he would. She scoffed and tossed the phone aside.

That was the only good thing she could come up with.

*

She woke up very early the next day and did everything she was supposed to... even more.

When her mum knocked on the door, she was already good to go.

*

"be good okay." Her mum said after she dropped off.

"I'm not some kid." Her usual reply.

She smiled and made her way to the building. When she gets back, she was gonna order pizza and see Andre.

Uh... the thought excited her.

But ah... she's has to re-save his number to avoid any misunderstandings.

As she walked in, she felt dizzy all of a sudden.

She halted and leaned her left arm on the wall. Huh?

What was wrong?

She nodded negatively and started moving again.

*

By the time she got to the door of the room, she was feeling like her head was about falling off her neck.

It was so heavy for her to move with.

What was it again! Ugh! What was happening to her?

She leaned on the wall outside the room... there is no way she was gonna go in there this way.

The best plan was to find somewhere to rest for a moment.

Damn, why did all these have to happen now! Should she call her mum back?

No! Not a good idea.

It might give her mum all the excuse she's been looking for, to send her to a hospital.

She turned to go back but almost bumped into someone.

Oh... it was... He was in twos... huh? Alec.

"hey." He muttered but probably noticed that she wasn't fine.

"are you okay?" he asked. She sighed dizzily and was gonna nod when she found herself falling and everything suddenly went blank.

*

*

She slowly opened her eyes.

Uh... it was warm and soothing, whatever she was lying on.

But it was dark... what was the matter? Or better question, time?

She opened her eyes properly only to realise that she was in a car. Huh? Lying in a car.

She suddenly shrieked.

The fuck... did she faint? Whaaa... no no no.

She slowly sat up and as she did, the car chair raised along with her.

She was at the front seat of a car.

"Hey sleeping girl." She suddenly heard that manly voice beside her.

She gave a nasty shriek. Jeez! She had a male company.

"oops." The guy scoffed.

"Alec?" she sighed. He scared her.

She thought she was actually in her mum's car.

But here he was beside her.

"uh...Hi." she itched her nape a bit.

"... where are we?" she looked around through the tinted window.

Still in the meeting premises.

"oh we are still here." She gave him a short glance and looked away.

She immediately noticed her gown went up her thighs way too much.

She gasped lightly pulling it to cover her.

Ugh noo! No no! How could she be so careless?

Is it possible he saw her... pant?

Couldnt he at least help her cover before she woke!

Instead of making things awkward now.

She side glanced at him. He was smiling. Ugh!

He saw it for sure.

Well whatever.

She slowly faced him completely.

" wh... what happened?"

"well you passed out on me, hashtag I saved you from an untimely death.

So you owe me two favours now." He muttered sexily and leaned close to her.

"huuuh?... I p... passed out on you?

So y... you actually carried me here?" she asked putting emphasis on the carried.

She nodded negatively. Gosh!

She leaned backwards a bit, itching her nape shyly.

"thank you."

"eh... not yet." He muttered.

"Why?"

"cause I'm about to cash out the favors already."

"huuuuuh!"

*

"actually this is my favorite eatery.

Tell me, aint the food tasty?" he asked her.

She nodded.

Jeez, she was gonna spend a fortune on that freaking dinner.

Why the hell did he have to go somewhere too expensive.

He continues eating his veggies while she continued picking her food.

"uh... are you okay?" he asked after a while of silence.

She looked up at him again.

"of course I'm fine... just..." She faked a chuckle. "just homesick"

He smiled and continued eating. She stopped for a while to watch him.

How can someone just eat pure veggies with so much ease.

Uh!

"actually..." He started. "there is gonna be a pool party at my place tomorrow.

I want you to come."

"tomorrow?"

"yeah... tomorrow morning." He said. She smiled tightly.

"Do you party all the time?"

"well likely. Life is short." He said. She smiled and nodded.

"tomorrow... great. i'll be there." She said. He smiled back.

"that's great then. I can't wait to see you." He said. Her brow furrowed as she now stared at her food. Huh?

"and uh..." He dropped his chop stick and put all his attention on her.

She raised her gaze to him again.

"i like girly girls.

You know, girls with make up." He said.

"Huh?"

"you know what I mean." He winked. She looked back at her food immediately.

Oh calm down. Impedance!

She was never gonna owe this dude a favour ever in her life again.

*

"Hey dude!

hey... hey... Sam are you ther... hey!"

It seemed like they was no network. Alec huffed and ended the call.

That was the frigging 17th call he was making.

Yet no fruit.

He sighed and placed a call to Lindi again.

Earlier, she said he should call her a bit later.

"Hey Lindi, so is it a yes?"

"well... no.

It's actually cold these days, a pool party is...  you know."

He huffed. Cold these days? Is she crazy?

He ended the call.

Really? No one wanna come? Fine then!

Let only her come.

*

Gracie took in a deep breath, then pressed the door bell of the huge mansion.

Jeez, Alec must be a very rich kid.

Well he was just online a while ago describing his house for her.

Couldn't he at least come out to wait a while for her.

Well, something about her, the more she spends time with people, the more she gets to know their personality.

Alec is full of himself. period.

After a short while, she saw the curtain through the glass door was pushed sidewards.

The glass door slid open to reveal...

Her eyes almost plunged out of It's socket. He was half nude.

Uh... with just a towel on his waist, no shirt. no oxygen stuff.

"Hey." He muttered.

She gulped nervously. Why was he tying just a towel on his waist?

Ugh!

"uh... Hi." She tried to sound excited but failed terribly.

"come in." He said and stepped away from the door.

Thinking thrice, she entered hesitantly. She was having a bad feeling about this guy.

He shut the door after she entered.

With total admiration, she walked into his warm sitting room.

It was really huge.

Here she actually thought her mum was rich.

The sitting room was higher and wider and classier than theirs 200%.

everyrhing about it was either white or silver.

After walking to the middle, she looked back.

He was trailing behind her with a proud look.

Hmp!

"hey, what about your oxygen?" she asked.

He smiled silently and walked to her till he covered every distance between them.

"i can breathe sometimes without it for a while.

The oxygen helps me get mad, cry when I'm highly emotional.

Helps me breath when It's hot." He said getting so close. She stepped back a bit.

"you know those period of our lives is when we really need to breath.. but those are when I can't breath.

Sucks."

"uh..." she cleared her throat.

"where is the pool? Where is the party taking place?

Where is everyone?" she asked shoving his topic aside.

"they are on their way." he said. She knew he was lying at once.

She chuckled slightly feeling like an actual fool.

"it was all made up wasn't it?

The pool, the party."

"Huh? What are you talking about?"

" there was no party in the first place." She said. He gave a sly smile brushing his hair backwards with his fingers.

"you are right."

She scoffed and clutched tighter to her bag still staring straight at him.

"why did you have to lie about it?

And why do you want me here anyway? I mean you just said there is no party."

He smiled broader.

"why dont you sit?"

"I ask... Why am I here?"

"don't forget you owe me a favour.

Since there is no party, Just take it like you're paying back." He said. She sighed and stared down at the floor.

He moved closed to her.

"It's boring here and you came to keep me company."

"you lied to me."

"Hey... come on. Don't be retarded.

We can have a party all by our self."  He said. He was silent for a while and so was she.

He pulled her cheek slightly.

"hmm? Hmn? Okay right?" he asked. She didn't reply.

"that's great then, i''ll order pizza first.

I'll be right back. Make yourself at home."

He walked past her.

She scoffed. He is so full of himself.

She grumpily found a couch to sit. She was here already, so he beat her already.

But she was determined never to owe him a favour ever again if she survived today.
