After the match, a few nurses came out to carry Peter and Apu away while collecting the bits and pieces of flesh that had been thrown around the area before leaving.
Sometimes five to ten minutes later, apu and peter left the nurse's office with a shocked expression. "Well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised but why have the number 1 ranked healer in the world here for this?" Apu spoke to which Peter gave a short and simple reply. "No idea."
Misaki, seeing Apu leave the nurse's office, had met up with him. "Good job out there. I didn't expect you to win but why go so far? Even if technology or a healing ability can heal you, it's still dangerous and doesn't work if you're dead." Misaki asked with an eyebrow raised.
"Guess you really know nothing. What are you? An island kid? Not paying attention and coming here with no information? Anyways these fights, even though they didn't explain it, will determine our classes. The more you shine or show off, the higher the chance of your class being good is. Pretty sure we'll be sent to our rooms after this though." Apu explained, shrugging his shoulders while Peter nodded. They didn't want a crappy class after all.
"Can't say I understand but at least it was an interesting fight. How did you like your weapons? Apu used his like twice but you used yours and your ability continuously throughout the fight. Doesn't it use up a lot of zest?" Misaki questioned as sound threads didn't use any zest or it was such a tiny amount that the system didn't register it and his other skill was passive.
"Knuckle dusters are what feel right and my ability doesn't use any zest until it makes contact with an object. Even then, it's so little of it that it barely matters. I'll have to gain more links for it to get stronger." Peter explained. He answered both questions and gave a little additional information before walking away.
"Well guess I'll talk to you later apu. I'm going to head over to the bathroom, otherwise known as the main base." Misaki said, leaving apu to his own business. A few seconds later, he had disappeared without accessing the teleporter
Once again, Misaki was in the abyss while sitting at a table with the world he had made in front of him. Although to him, it just looked like a plain map full of blue. The reason he had come here was that during the fight, he had received a notification from his system.
[Your planet's multicellular organisms are evolving.]
The planet you created has gained microorganisms in your absence. These organisms are photosynthesizing. To become better at doing so, they have evolved to become slightly bigger and take root in the shallow parts of the ocean.
[You have been awarded 50 divinity points.]
[A quest has been initiated.]
Your planet has gained life. Now it's time for you to help it continue and grow by creating some islands from those hard rocks below the sea. To do this, you'll need to reach level 2.
[Part 1 of life before the chaos.]
Looking at the world closely, it started to zoom in on an area that was still covered by water but was shallow enough to stand on. A few large bacteria could be seen. Their flagella had dug into the ground, taking the role of roots while its Phili had widened ever so slightly as to cover more area.
"Interesting. Well, I think it's finally time to look at the shop since I got the divinity points and the shop seems like where I would spend them." Misaki said, making an educated guess.
[Shop]
50 divinity points
Sound barrier - locked
Sonic blast - locked
Tough skin - 10 divinity points
Demon ape bones 40 - divinity points
Hasten planet - 100 divinity points
Abyssal upgrade - 500 divinity points
[The rest of the shop is locked from the host view.]
Misaki felt like the system was trying to get him to buy the two upgrades that were the cheapest as the demon ape bones were strangely priced but since he could, he would.
"Purchase tough skin and demon ape bones."
[Confirm purchase by saying 'I, Misaki Monoa, accept.']
"I, Misaki Monoa, accept."
After accepting the purchase, Misaki was covered in blue light as his flesh began to slowly peel off his body in a single piece only for it to scab over and heal, being returned to his honey brown skin tone.
During the process, Misaki couldn't tell or do anything as his consciousness had disappeared. Well, more so he went comatose but not because of the skin peeling. Around the same time, Misaki's skin started to peel, his bones were constantly being broken with blunt force continuously until it was nothing but powder. But just as quickly as they had been broken, they were replaced with a slightly darker shade. Before pitch-black bones were placed, they were broken once more and it had returned to a grayish-white bone.
Not long after the procedure, Misaki woke up to his body feeling sore and a bit tighter than usual. It felt like he had just spilled extra-sugary soda all over himself from head to toe and it dried up. Looking at the system, there was the tab he had received when the notification came.
[Enter/Leave abyssal dimension.]
