A bright beam flashed in the sky. A shade of red enveloped the world. Skies shook and the earth quacked. Powers clashed. The air boiled. Earsplitting roars echoed as thunders descended akin to a cascade of light.
'What in the world...'
Kairen almost choked on his breath. The scene unfolding before his eyes looked like the end of the world, the true episode of annihilation. His brother, holding Kairen, wrapped his arms around the tattered body and held him close while creating walls of dirt and stone to shield them from whatever was going to happen next. Anyone else would've thrown away any burden and fled for their lives, but Aaron didn't seem to have any intention of moving an inch even when the world seemed to be about to end.
However, for some reason, Kairen couldn't feel scared. What was spreading inside his being was concern rather than fear.
