A few weeks later, Kreiz took Ivy to visit the Vintry's main house. It was a gigantic, breathtaking, gleaming white building on a low hill overlooking the city. Half of the sublime mansion was made of glass, whose coldness was mitigated by the white wood carved with a superb mosaic.
They stopped in front of the huge porch and climbed a few very wide steps before pushing the imposing door engraved with the Vintry symbol. Sign composed of two circles of different thicknesses surrounding a wooden creature raised on its two hind legs.
The interior was like the exterior, sumptuous.
