Eugene felt a lump form in his throat as he read everything about Kiara and Simon's relationship and break up. He scolded himself for being so ignorant and oblivious of the things that were happening in his boss's life. He should have googled and possibly stalked the internet to get some inside info regarding the pop star before hoping in as her secretary. But still he couldn't have done anything to help her out at this point. Still it's better than being clueless and dumb. Imagine being in a ship and not checking out the weather forecast. That will be stupid. And working under a celebrity without checking out the rumours about them is exactly like sailing in a ship without a weather forecast. Anyways now Eugene got some of his questions answered. Now he knew why his boss lady was in a bad mood and drove the car like a mad cow, almost killing both of them. But still he has no clue what she is doing inside the mansion. Still he could guess that it must be an ugly fight and things could get worse. It won't be right if he just sat in the car waiting for his boss lady to calm down and come back. He should go and get her back. But will she listen to him? That's not in his hands. He knows that managers,secretaries and body guards all of them are expected to protect their celeb from getting in scandals. And he should do the same. manager Joe had asked him to take care of Kiara and even if he failed he can at least tell that he tried. He opened the door and got down from the car and started walking towards the Mansion.
On the other side Kiara was cursing Simon in every language she knew. Simon seemed to enjoy the show as he sat on the couch with his girlfriend and Kiara's ex-secretary Liza. Kiara was screaming with tears and shivering with temper but Simon stayed silent as if he wanted to make Kiara more mad.
Kiara : You disgusting Moron! How dare you pay people to write rumours about me. What did I ever do to you? You think you can keep your head up after doing all this. I will pay you back in a way that you will prefer death over life.
Liza : Calm down Kiara! You think you can say anything just because Simon is staying silent.
Liza stood up to defend her boyfriend.
Kiara : How dare you call me by name? You Bloody bitch! You stabbed me on my back and now you have the audacity to talk back at me. You shameless slut!
Simon: Enough Kiara! You just crashed into my mansion to insult me and my girlfriend. You know what will happen if someone gets to know about this?
Kiara : Everyone should get to know about you and your shameless girlfriend who are plotting against me.
Simon : But I think people are more interested about the psychopath pop star who treated his boyfriend like a sex toy only to cheat on him later as she is a Nimphomaniac.
Kiara : You bloody pervert!
Kiara hissed at him in anger and pulled his collar trying to choke him. But suddenly she was pulled back as Eugene had rushed in without any announcement.
Eugene : Ma'am please stop! Let's go back home.
Kiara : Leave me. I won't take a step back before killing this monster.
Eugene : Ma'am please! I can't let you do this. You are not in the right state of mind.
Simon : What a good thing that you hired this kid as your new secretary. It will be easier for people to believe the rumours about you being a predator looking for younger men to satisfy your lust.
Kiara : You!
Kiara pushed away Eugene in a second and moved towards Simon to attack. Eugene didn't expect that his new job would require physical strength. It's not that Kiara was stronger than him. It's just the anger in her that made her quite difficult to control. Eugene was on his way to pull her back when they felt a few camera flashes on their faces. A few journalists with cameras and microphones had gathered at the mansion door and they were already recording Kiara losing her mind. Eugene could feel his mind going numb as Kiara was going on with the verbal abuse and physical attack.
Eugene: No! Stop it! Stop recording!
The media was too busy with capturing the most controversial pics and Eugene's voice was not that strong either. Eugene moved to Kiara and pulled her away from Simon. And now she was cursing Eugene instead of Simon.
Kiara : Leave me! You little punk. Get out of my way!
Eugene ignored all of that as he made her grip on her stronger.
Eugene: The media is here Ma'am. Please calm down. We have to leave.
Kiara was completely out of her mind to notice the group of journalists capturing her footage. The only thing that was going on in her mind was the urge to kill Simon and Liza. And it was just a moment of time when the anger changed into pain and fear. She finally saw the cameras flashing at her and she could hear an emergency siren in her brain. Eugene could feel Kiara losing her energy as she stopped fighting him back and kind of leaned towards him. Tears escaped her eyes as she opened her mouth to gasp. Her heartbeat was rising and breathing was getting hard. Her throat was dry all of a sudden and she was unable to see or hear anything. Everything was getting blurry and she collapsed in Eugene's hands. Eugene caught her before falling and sat down placing her head in his lap. He had no clue what was happening. Kiara was not unconscious but she had no control over her body. She was just there for the ride as anxiety did it's thing.
Eugene: Ma'am….Ma'am are you okay? Ma'am….
Eugene tapped both sides of her face but she was just gasping and shivering. The media was recording everything without blinking an eye. Eugene wanted to ask for help but he knew that no one present in the scene would be eager to help them. Finally he lifted up the fallen lady in his arms and prepared to walk off. But the cameras were still flashing.
Eugene : Get out of my way!
He shouted at the top of his voice and that managed to make some way for him to walk. He reached near the car and made Kiara sit in the seat. He got on the driver's seat and drove off as fast as he could. Kiara was mumbling something inaudible in between the short breaths. Eugene took her to the hospital without delay. And she was taken into the emergency room. He stood there for a few minutes trying to process all of the things that happened. His phone started buzzing and he saw Manager Joe's name on the screen.
Eugene : He..Hello…
Joe : Eugene, where are you? Sophie just called me to tell me that both of you didn't reach there.
Eugene:.... We...we…
Joe : What happened? You don't sound good.
Eugene : We are at the hospital. Ma'am...she…
Joe: What? What happened to her? Is she ok?
Eugene : She just…. collapsed...and she was unable to breathe…
Joe: Oh God! Wait, I will be there in a minute.
Joe hung up and Eugene started feeling tense. He will surely get scolded for not handling the situation properly. But he was more worried about Kiara. She was in so much pain. God knows how she will handle when the pics and videos will be out in the public. He always heard news about celebs losing their career and committing suicide after such disgusting scandals. He leaned on the wall, shutting his eyes and tried to get rid of all the thoughts that were making him restless.
