His memories suddenly flashed between his eyes. Splattered blood everywhere, not a single hint of life.
Suno was laying at the middle of the ballroom, his blood flowed through the golden floors left below him. It looked like a crown of blood.
He was laying there, lifeless.
The fullmoon glowed and the blood crown shined.
His cold body floated in the air and the crown shined brighter.
He suddenly opened his eyes and began to breathe.
The sun shined, covering his eyes.
He sat and looked around him, the entire place where many people gathered that night suddenly disappeared.
Scattered pieces of bodies and debris are the only things to be seen.
He looked dumbstruck, attempting to stand up.
The blood crown suddenly changed into blood splatters.
He stood up as he remembered his childhood friend, Sasha.
He dug the debris that fell and looked for her.
'SASHA!' He shouted
Continuously digging until his hands began to bled.
He stopped for a moment looking dismayed.
'Sasha?' His voice was trembling, seeing her hand with the bracelet he gave her.
He dugged once again, tears started to flow down his cheeks.
Her body was cold, as if she was dead for a long time.
He placed her on top of his thighs.
'Wake up Sash' He whispered holding her.
But she didn't move an inch, even though her body was cold. She was fully intacted.
He couldn't believe it and hugged her tight.
'WAKE UP!!' He shouted.
His voice echoed around.
A few hours later he covered her body and left.
The moment he went outside, he saw green creatures outside walking with wooden bats.
He stopped and hid for a moment.
'What was that thing just now?' He thought.
He looked around and grabbed the nearest metal pipe he saw.
He continued to hid and looked for an opportunity to run, there was hundreds of goblins outside.
But not humans to be seen.
He saw his bike laying on the floor.
'Hayabusa!' He thought.
But there were tons of goblins near it, he looked for a large rock and grabbed one.
He threw it at a distant broken car creating a large sound.
The goblins were alarmed and ran towards it.
Suno waited for the opportunity and ran as fast as he can.
He placed the keys and left the place.
A few goblins attempted to ran after him but failed.
He looked back and chuckled, he changed the gear and went faster, the loud sound of his bike made a few monsters follow him.
One monster was so fast it catched up to him, it was a small silver like animal, it jumped to reach him.
He grabbed his metal pipe and strike it.
'Let's go home' He mumbled.
The moment he reached his home, his heart beat fast.
He ran inside and searched for his mother and sister, but it was like an abandoned mansion. Plants began to grow inside, it seems like the place was left in a very long time.
He began to panic looking for them everywhere but failed.
He went inside his bedroom and opened his cabinet. Luckily, his clothes were still untouched.
Suno changed his clothes and took a few extras.
He also grabbed tons of cash and opened a large safe inside the cabinet. A second door.
It was filled with gun and deadly weapons.
He took a few guns, ammo, and a katana.
'Wait for me...mother...sister..' He mumbled.
Grabbing everything he needs he took another bike an H2. He traveled far, but no humans were found. Everything looked abandoned, the houses and buildings look old. Everything was falling apart.
But that didn't stop Suno to look for his family.
The farther he gets the lesser the monsters he encountered.
The last monster injured Suno's right shoulder.
Luckily he brought bandages from his bedroom earlier.
He wrapped his wounded shoulder and left again, a few hours later he finally reached the border.
The walls were so high, it was made of steel.
'What happend here?' He thought.
He slowly crossed the bridge.
'I haven't seen any people.' He thought.
He looked around and saw a monster large monster below the bridge.
His bike flew with him.
'AGHH' He hit his back.
The monster was slow but large, he grabbed his katana and stood up.
'Shit!' He frustratingly shouted.
'What are these damn things!!' He thought.
The steel door seemed tight shut, he had nowhere to run.
His bike was broken, and his injured arm began to bleed.
'I'll die' He said.
'I'LL DIE AGAIN FUCK!' He shouted.
His sanity was unstable.
He looked down and smiled, he began to hop and stretch his arms.
'Whatever, I'll die anyways. So fuck this!' He said charging directly at the monster.
It was a large ant with skulls attached behind it.
He jumped and pointed his katana directly on the ants head.
He was about to reach it's head, but it was smarter than the monsters he faced earlier.
It aimed it's legs onto his injured shoulder, he managed to cover his chest but it damaged his shoulder more. He flew and hit the steel door.
'ARGHH' He screamed in pain, his shoulder bled more than before.
'IT HURTS! FUCK!' He shouted.
He attempted to stand using his katana as a support.
The ant was about to stike back at him with blades on it's legs.
He saw a tiny crack on it's fourth leg, he ran and slid below the ant.
He striked it's fourth leg, the ant screamed and fell.
'System activated.' An unknown voice said.
Suno was startled but continued to cut the ants legs.
'That's the weakness' He mumbled.
His breathing became heavier, but that didn't slow him down.
His expression darkened as he peirced through the ant.
'Player: Suno Choi logging in' It said.
'Great now i'm hearing things.' He chuckled. shrugging his shoulder.
'Ow.' He held his injured shoulder.
Peircing the ant, it was screaming in pain.
'Age: 45' It said.
Suno stopped.
'45?!?!' He shouted
He slept for a very long time.
He was only 18 before he died.
'But my appearance hasn't changed!?' He added, making him more confused.
He forgot the ant, it tried to grab him.
Suno looked down and stabbed it.
Finally the ant died.
'Blooded Ant: Eliminated' It said.
'Level up +100'
'Level up +100'
'Level up +100'
'Level up +100'
'Level up +100'
'Blooded Ant +25'
'Blade Master +15'
Suno was shocked to see these screen popping up.
The ant's body began to melt and a tiny orb fell. It piqued Suno's interest placing it in his pocket.
His eyes suddenly blackened.
He felt dizzy, holding his head and keeping his balance.
'Huh?' He said.
'Blooded Ant: level 2 - Poision' It said.
'Fuck' He thought.
He immediately fell.
'Hello Sir, can you hear me?' A distant voice said.
Suno slowly opened his eyes, a bright light shined on his eyes.
His eyesight was still clouded.
'Where am I?' He mumbled.
'Sir?' He's wearing a white robe, pointing his flashlight directly on Suno's eyes.
'Hey take that off.' Suno mumbled.
The man didn't listen and continued to flash his eyes.
Minutes passed, he finally can see clearer.
'He is free to go sir.' The man was talking to someone at the door.
'Understood' He added.
He walked back to Suno.
'You're very lucky sir.' He said sitting beside him.
'Lucky?' He asked, he slowly sat on his bed.
'Ow.' He mumbled touching his shoulder.
It was already covered in bandage.
'Careful, your body's still healing.' The man said.
'I'm the doctor here, Leo' He extended his hand to Suno, exchanging handshakes.
'Your Korean's great.' Suno praised him.
'Oh no Sir. You can understand me because of the system.' He replied.
'System? This one?' He asked pointing his screen.
'I can't see yours sir, but yes. We have the system.' He replied.
'What were those tiny creatures outside?' He asked.
'They are called Critters, they came to our world 27 years ago. We humans, were forced to leave our homes 2 months later. Since things were getting out of hand.' He explained.
'So what was those steel walls.'
'Ah! that's the protection the gods have given us. They placed those walls to prevent critters from coming inside.' He smiled.
'gods?'
'Yes! They saved us! If it wasn't for them, the world was about to end. They gave the first heroes their powers.'
'Each gods have 2 favorite humans. They give them powers equal to a demi god. In exchange for entertainment.'
'It's kinda hard to explain though.' He added scratching his head.
'gods huh?' Suno thought.
'Anyways, everybody was tested in the altar. Only a handful of people were picked. But the good thing is we were still given our systems! It's very convenient to use.' He continued.
'He's very chatty' Suno thought.
He listened to Leo until he finished.
'One last thing, how did you live there?' Leo asked, his expression suddenly changed.
'Where?' Suno asked.
'Y'know, outside..'
'I live in a mansion, the moment everything went dark we closed the gates shut. But our supplies didn't last long, and were forced to go out.' Suno explained.
'It's a lie' He thought.
He felt something was suspicious, while Leo was talking. He secretly looked around the place he was in.
It was a single bed with a one way mirror.
'They're testing me' He thought.
'But for what?' He thought.
'Oh I see! Everyone was ordered to leave that City, I guess some still lived their.' Leo replied.
'I was all alone though' Suno thought.
'Where are the others? Since you said "we".' Leo asked.
'They died.' Suno's face darkened.
'I'm so sorry' Leo replied and stood up.
'Anymore questions?' Leo added.
Suno shaked his head.
'Well! Goodluck!' He smiled and clapped his hand.
Suddenly, the door opened with people covered from head to toe.
Suno was baffled but didn't moved and looked at Leo instead.
'What are you gonna do?' Suno asked calmly.
'Well, we need to make sure your all clear.' He replied smiling.
They injected an unknown liquid to Suno.
He fell asleep instantly.
