Ted disliked being in the middle of such a busybody crowd so intensely that the desire to be in peace won over the desire to know what was going on. While picking teams, he wondered if it was wise to let on just how tight the game would become if he played against Madorn. There could be profit to be made concerning the whole brainwashing experiment if the trio dominated the game effortlessly.
