All they caught was a madwoman from the asylum times who had decided to disobey and wear something fancy. Ted knew she wasn't exactly more likely to be in on a plot than she was to simply be unstable, but something about having to patronize her made him angry enough that he pulled Eknie aside.
"If you're not going to torture some confessions out of her, I will do so. If you want to see that no women are hit by men in your presence, speak up."
"I can do it if you're stressed out, I get it," Eknie said. "Just say the word."
"Go get her, Eknie. Go get her."
