Redbelly venom was among the most lethal, but not the fastest. Ted calculated that he had five hours to get himself medical attention.
It would take him two and a half hours to get back and find a doctor while in severe pain and with shortness of breath.
It would take him heavens knew how long to locate the most valuable items in the cave. This meant that as a brave man, Ted had plenty of time.
The cave was full of boxes – some with locks that looked more valuable than the contents. Most of the locks did not work quite as well as the person making them had probably intended. Ted cracked them with ease.
One box stood out in particular.
It had writing on the top.

Ted took this warning seriously. He had a funny gut feeling about the box.
