Ted had to admit that he had not ever been this angry at a person without said person doing anything bad to him. Tomjohn was the penultimate lazy oaf, an idiot, like the artist had said, and a dozen more unflattering things. It was so hard to reason with a man who did not want to pick up an ax to cut down a tree with what would eventually be less effort than...the high cor had to cut that train of thought in half and put his head between his knees.
At least the whole crew understood the point, though. They all agreed with Ted. Tomjohn was a dysfunctional sack of phlegmatic inactivity. This, in turn, would make it hard to cooperate with him and to force him to help with the search.
"A person's attitude really means a lot when it comes to the outcome of his or her life," Zerielle said with a most understanding and sympathetic tone.
Ted hoped that the sympathy was not aimed towards Tomjohn of Idiocy Island.
