Unable to move, Ted waited.
The sensations in his body got sharper and sharper with every passing second. At some point, he realized that he was actually bothered by the pain in his chest. He hoped that someone would give him some medicine, at least.
But no such thing happened, and as he was unable to call out and ask for paw or anything, he just decided to wait it out and see what would happen.
Now he had some quartz in him.
It was a good rock for many spiritual purposes, but he had not been aware of its potential as a weapon. He would have to find out more, but first, he wanted to turn the tables on his guards and make them his prisoners instead.
Little by little, though, his body was starting to feel more flexible. That was a good thing.
