The snow rolled itself up into a thing that was instantly recognizable as a snowman.
Eknie had a funny expression. Her jaw was hanging so low that it looked like she had accidentally dislocated it in her astonishment.
Ted chuckled.
"So, that is why people want to be wizards," Madorn snorted. "They want their snowmen to build themselves."
"Don't be like that, Mad," the high cor said. "We have been missing out on so much."
"Yes. Apparently, the difference between a wizard and an occultist is clear. When a wizard wants a cup of coffee, he makes the coffee make itself in a magical swirl of invisible energies that have taken him years to conjure up. When an occultist wants to have a cup of coffee, he gets up and makes some, like a normal, functional person."
