The scream echoed from the walls of the great cave, upsetting the pale worm.
"The gods have ABANDONED YOU! You have nothing, a pack of dogs - a collection of suicidal misfits! On my island! Did you think for a second that I might not like to have you on my island?"
Ted did not just observe the no longer rotting bastard screaming and waving his arms. He also observed the way the noises were affecting the great pale worm.
