"This is not the one that was originally a human, or is it?" Ted said.
He had tied up the horrendeer. It was like all the others, in the sense that it certainly had an uniquely pathetic look in its eyes that did not mark it as unique as a horrendeer as much as it discerned the animal from all other mammals.
It looked so upset and disappointed. It barely even made any sounds at all.
"I don't think it is." Eric tilted his head. "I mistook it for someone I know for a split second, but I don't think so...not with paws like that."
The high cor bursted into laughter.
'"Are you saying you actually can tell one person-horrendeer from another? What tips you off?"
Then he scared himself listening to his own laughter bouncing off as an ominous echo.
"You should not laugh in this place!" Eric said angrily.
