Ted got back to Libranupometsk without much trouble. Eric was back to being his cranky old self, and after making sure that the high cor was safe, he turned towards his mountain,claiming that he could never be seen by the villagers.
Dogormo had left a message to Ted, it was written in what appeared to be red ink and nailed to his door.
"INKMASTER UNDERSTANDS."
So, apparently Dogormo just couldn't stop shouting, even when he was writing.
Ted had slept well, but he still felt like taking a nap.
However, he was driven out of his bed by a nightmare that mostly concerned Makko. Upset that his own mind was pulling such tricks on him, he went to visit Madorn, but the scientist was away and he had to walk all the way to Theinskvalur's house, which only served to upset him further.
The rotting man was in a pleasant mood. For some reason, Ted didn't feel like it was a wise thing to open up about his little adventure inside the mountain.
