"You want something from me, do you not?" Eric asked, staring at Ted intensely.
"Yes," the high cor confessed. "I want to learn how to be a wizard."
The wizard sighed.
"You know that it doesn't just happen overnight, right?"
"I do. But I have time."
That was a lie. The cult leader had so many pressing commitments that it wasn't even funny anymore.
"No, you do not," Eric said casually. "But I can teach you in any case. You must, however, commit to a daily routine that will encompass practicing your focus and learning to control your astral body. It won't be easy, and you will have to get used to the feeling of not being the most amazing force in the room. I get the general idea from you that such things are unacceptable to the current you."
"That is not true," Ted argued. "I am humble when needed, but fake humility is a crime like no other, it is atrocious."
